But, a seven-night western Caribbean cruise on Disney Destiny departing October 10, 2026 — which is a Halloween on the High Seas cruise — starts at $1,687 per person for a standard oceanview stateroom. That’s a difference of $91 per person.
While the cost difference may not be significant for some, it’s important to consider your budget and what you’re willing to pay for the Halloween-themed activities and decorations. The good news is that the premium for a Halloween on the High Seas cruise is less significant than the premium for one of Disney’s Very Merrytime Christmas cruises. So if you’re on a budget and choosing between a Halloween or Christmas Disney cruise, Halloween is the way to go. This is partly due to the fact that the Halloween season falls during the cruise industry’s slow season, where fares are generally lower than they would be most other times of the year.
With that being said, if you’re on a very tight budget, it may be worth skipping the Halloween on the High Seas cruise and opting for a typical Disney cruise instead. However, if you’re a Halloween enthusiast and want to experience the spooky fun at sea, the slight premium may be well worth it for you.

It’s a great way to kick off the Halloween festivities and usually takes place within the first two days of the cruise.

Which Disney ships offer Halloween on the High Seas?
Disney Cruise Line offers Halloween on the High Seas on select sail dates across all but one of their ships: Disney Wish, Disney Magic, Disney Wonder, Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, Disney Treasure, and Disney Destiny. The sail dates vary by ship and port, so it’s best to check the sailing calendar when booking your cruise to ensure that you can participate in this spooky celebration.
The only Disney Cruise Line ship that currently does not offer Halloween on the High Seas cruises is the newest addition to the fleet — Disney Adventure — which operates cruises to nowhere out of Singapore.
Does Halloween on the High Seas have a pirate night?
Yes, Halloween on the High Seas includes a pirate night, which is a staple of Disney Cruise Line’s regular itineraries. On this night, guests can dress up in their best pirate attire and enjoy a variety of pirate-themed activities. These include a deck party, fireworks, and a special dining experience.
Keep in mind that pirate night is separate from the Halloween festivities. In fact, it occurs on a completely different night during the cruise.
