With no kids onboard and more than a dozen bars and lounges, you’ll find everything from a chic champagne lounge to a beer hall on tap. That’s why we’ve put together a complete Virgin Voyages bar guide. This walkthrough includes full menus, drink prices, and insider tips so you know exactly where to go for your perfect drink.
Our Complete Look at All the Virgin Voyages Bars With Menus and Drink Prices
Unlike most contemporary cruise lines, Virgin Voyages does not sell drink packages. A handful of basics are included in your fare, like still and sparkling water, drip coffee, and soda. Everything else, from cocktails and wine to specialty coffee and pressed juices, is pay as you go. One nice perk: gratuities are already calculated into Virgin’s pricing, so the menu price is what you actually pay, with no 18 to 20% bar tip tacked on like other lines.
To soften the cost, Virgin lets you pre-load a Bar Tab before you sail and adds bonus credit on top. Here’s how the tiers currently break down:
- $200 tab, $25 bonus
- $300 tab, $50 bonus
- $500 tab, $100 bonus
- $750 tab, $175 bonus
- $1,000 tab, $250 bonus
Bar Tab must be purchased at least 24 hours before you sail, is non-refundable, and can be shared with anyone in your party (there’s no per-person rule). You can even spend it at The Beach Club at Bimini.

Note: Brilliant Lady sailing in Alaska has a few exclusive additions designated with a bear icon on the menus. With recent menu enhancements across the fleet, many now also feature low alcohol and no alcohol options.
The Manor (Deck 6)
This 2-story space, named after Branson’s first recording studio, is home to three bars. This venue offers live music as well as several interactive shows and dance parties in the evenings. It also transforms into the ship’s club later in the night. To help quench your thirst, The Manor has a signature menu with a few cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits.
Casino Bar (Deck 6)
If you need a beverage to go along with your slot play, then the Casino Bar is your stop. This bar is open whenever the casino is open. It’s a full bar but also offers a menu with a few cleverly named drinks, like the Rock Bottom. So, be sure to grab a drink for your date with Lady Luck.
On the Rocks (Deck 6)
Located on the lower level of the Roundabout, this mixology bar features martinis and cocktails with an emphasis on aged spirits served “on the rocks”. Given its central location, this is a popular spot in the evenings. You will certainly want to enjoy a drink while listening to the live music or while watching one of the many “happenings” that occur here.
Sip (Deck 7)
This chic champagne lounge is a go-to spot for a drink on Virgin Voyages. Also serving afternoon tea (up-charge with or without bubbles), you might find yourself hanging out here quite a bit. The Sip menu features a few signature cocktails and spritzes along with a wide selection of wine and champagne.
Draught Haus (Deck 7)
The Draught Haus is a beer lover’s haven. This chill venue features a wide variety of beers on tap. In addition, you will find plenty of bottled and canned beers and even shots, like the jellyfish. While many of the bar menus have received a fleetwide enhancement in 2026, I personally like that this venue now has cocktails on tap like an espresso martini and a lemon drop.
Grounds Club (Deck 7)
The Grounds Club is your coffee house at sea on Virgin Voyages. This venue serves Intelligentsia Coffee, JoJo Tea, and other espresso based drinks. You can grab your favorite latte, cappuccino, or even a cold brew any time of day. There is also a second coffee spot in The Galley.
Of note, only drip coffee is included in the cruise fare; these premium beverages will cost you extra money. As part of Virgin’s Sailing Club loyalty program, we definitely took advantage of the free daily specialty coffee perk!
The Loose Cannon (Deck 7)
This nautically inspired bar features a signature drink menu with hits like the El Capitano’s Gun Powder or the Shoctopus (shots for 5 people), along with beer and wine. It is located in a secluded corner through the Social Club, where there are games and good times. Come for the drinks, stay for the fun.
The Social Club Bar (Deck 7)
The Social Club is an American diner serving classic carnival eats like hot dogs, popcorn, pretzels, and candy. The venue also serves spiked floats and dirty sodas. Not to mention, there is shuffleboard, board games, free arcade games, and more to keep you entertained for hours. Trivia sessions and other cruise activities also occur here, making it a popular stop throughout the day.
The Dock House and Dock Bars (Deck 7)
The Dock House Bar is the indoor bar, while the Dock Bar is its outdoor counterpart in this quiet, aft-located retreat. With a chic beach club vibe, it’s our favorite place to relax on a sea day. The comfy furniture, great cocktails, and delicious tapas keep us coming back. Both bars offer the same menu, highlighting spritzers and sangrias.
JuiceSea (Deck 7)
Located in the same area just before heading outside to the Dock is JuiceSea. This health-forward bar features cold-pressed juices, smoothies, and healthy shots which are perfect for breakfast or to detox after a night of partying. All drinks here are an upcharge.
Aquatic Club Bar (Deck 15)
The Aquatic Club Bar is your pretty typical pool bar. Located right next to the ship’s main pool, this will be your go-to spot while lounging poolside on a sea day. The Aquatic Club bar serves up some great mojitos and frozen cocktails like the VV pina colada.
Gym & Tonic Bar (Deck 15)
The Gym & Tonic Bar is right around the corner from the Aquatic Club Bar. This bar is situated right near the well-being pool and not far from the B-Complex gyms. This bar offers smoothies, fresh pressed juices, and “reset cocktails”, in addition to a full bar.
Richard’s Rooftop (Deck 16)
Richard’s Rooftop is the exclusive lounge reserved for RockStar and Mega RockStar suite guests, located all the way forward on Deck 16. Named after Sir Richard Branson himself, this swanky open-air hideaway offers plush seating, two hot tubs, a private bar, and a more intimate vibe than the busier pool deck below. If you booked a suite, this is your private perch for a relaxing sea day or a sunset cocktail away from the crowds. Drinks during the Sunset Hour (usually 5-6 PM) are complimentary.

Sun Club Bar (Deck 16)
The Sun Club Bar is located on Deck 16, right above the pool deck. If you are looking to catch some rays away from the congested pool area, this will be your closest bar to grab a frosty cocktail. It’s also a great spot to overlook the pool deck parties. The Sun Club Bar serves the same menu as the Aquatic Club Bar.
The Athletic Club Bar (Deck 16)
Lastly, the Athletic Club Bar is located aft on Deck 16. Come for the Instagram shot on the Net, then stay for some drinks at this bar. This area of the ship also has comfy lounge furniture to relax, plenty of sun, and great wake views. The Athletic Club bar menu offers many of the same drinks that you can find at the other outdoor bars including frozen drinks, beer, wine, and some signature cocktails like the Rum in the Ring.

Question : Of the 6 specialty restaurants available for dinner, only 3 of them have bars that you can go to (I’m assuming even if you’re not having dinner there??), and the other 3 restaurants do NOT have bars in the restaurant ? i.e. you can order drinks at the table, but there’s no bar to sit at or order from ? Thanks in advance !
