We were impressed with all of the different bars and lounges on the ship. In total, there are 15+ bars and lounges on Carnival Jubilee including some brand new to Carnival Cruise Line fleet.

Many of these bars have signature drink menus while others serve the standard bar menu. With numerous bars scattered around the ship, you will never have to go far to grab a drink while enjoying all the amenities this new vessel has to offer.

Punchliner Comedy Club – Deck 6

Forward on Deck 6, the Punchliner Comedy Club is home to several comedians throughout the week. The club is typically only open in the evenings for adult comedy shows, with up to four showtimes each night. During the day, there might be other activities like an occasional art auction or a magic show that occur here.

The small theater consists of a stage with cozy booths and plenty of other additional seating near the stage. Before the show, you can grab a drink from the small themed menu. With cocktails like the signature Punchliner and the Jokester, it’s sure to be a good night.

Piano Bar 88 – Deck 6

Across the way from the comedy club, you’ll find Piano Bar 88. This staple Carnival venue is home to live piano music and a signature cocktail menu. The intimate lounge is adorned in metallic finishes with the piano centrally located and the bar set off to the side.

If you are a fan of rowdy piano lounges, you will want to stop in and request your favorite songs. And, why not grab a drink, like the Showstopper or B Sharp, to go along with the tunes. This is certainly a lively spot in the evenings.

Piano Bar 88 Menu

Center Stage Bar – Deck 6

The central bar on Deck 6 is the Center Stage Bar. This bar serves the standard Carnival drink menu and is the main bar for the crowds gathering at Center Stage for the productions, parties, and various other activities.

Right next to the bar is a large seating area with chairs and sofas. Although, they don’t offer the best views of the stage.

Note: On the first day of the cruise when sailing from Galveston, there is a reduced menu served at all of the bars. Due to Texas law, the cruise line can only serve locally sourced alcohol. This means there is a limited number of mixed drinks, beers, and wines available until the ship is out of Texas waters.

Java Blue Cafe – Deck 6

Also located nearby, the Java Blue Café is your dedicated coffee shop on Carnival ships. This venue opens at 6 AM most mornings for cruisers to get their caffeine fix. Serving espresso-based beverages and milk shakes that are included in the Cheers drink package, you might find yourself visiting this café quite a bit.

Further, Java Blue Café serves breakfast items like breakfast sandwiches and continental pastries. The café also serves lunch items that include sandwiches, chicken pies, empanadas, and more. There are desserts available too, but they will cost a nominal fee.

The Golden Mermaid – Deck 6

With a specialty drink menu featuring cocktails as mysterious as the Golden Mermaid herself, cruisers will not want to miss this brand-new bar on Carnival Jubilee. Taking the place of the Golden Jubilee Bar on Carnival Celebration, this venue features talented mixologists alongside live music in the evenings.

The cocktail recipes here are inspired by precious metals and gemstones, some even garnished with glitter. The decor is just as ornate with gold and teal finishes reminiscent of the sea and even mermaid mosaics. Some of my favorite cocktails here included the Radiant Rose and Atlantis Potion.

Dr. Inks Ph.D. – Deck 6

Dr. Inks Ph.D. is another new and truly unique bar on Carnival Jubilee. Taking the place of the Latitudes Bar on Carnival Celebration, this bar is at the heart of the new Currents zone and is even adorned with eight crazy tentacles.

Dr. Inks is one clever sea creature who has concocted a signature menu featuring drinks that can’t be found anywhere else at sea. Her drinks include everything from color-changing properties to garnishes like Swedish fish, Pop Rocks, or seafoam. So, you will definitely want to sample these creative cocktails during your Carnival Jubilee cruise.

While sipping drinks, you can also enjoy live music and “shows” on the nearby LED screens.

Some of our favorite cocktails here were the Ocean Bubble, Crimson Catch, Think or Sink, and Seahorse Glide.

Grand View Bar – Deck 7

Also serving cruisers watching the productions in Center Stage is the Grand View Bar on Deck 7. If you are lucky enough to score some of the stadium style seating near this bar, you will have some grand views of the action one deck below.

This bar also features the standard drink menu.

Alchemy Bar – Deck 7

Overlooking the digital screens of the new Currents zone, the Alchemy Bar is located on the portside of Deck 7. Unfortunately, this is not an ideal location, as this also serves as the main walkway for those passing by. So, the area does get rather congested.

With a signature cocktail menu, the venue resembles a 19th century apothecary. From the drink names, to the bartenders’ white lab coats, this bar has a unique flair. So, we highly suggest you have these master mixologists stir up one of the exclusive elixirs, like the Alchemist’s Sidecar, the Cucumber Sunrise, or the Forty is the New Twenty.

Limelight Lounge – Deck 7

Tucked away on Deck 7 is the Limelight Lounge. You might not even notice the small entrance on the portside nearby the Alchemy Bar.

This multi-use space is home to a variety of activities day and night from trivia, to family comedy shows, karaoke, and other Fun Squad games. There is also a small bar located here, serving the standard drink menu.

Havana Bar – Deck 8

Located on the starboard side of Deck 8 is the Havana Bar. This venue is open to all cruisers, and it is one of the liveliest bars on the ship. During the day, you might find dance classes, trivia, games, or karaoke sessions. At night, live music and other activities are regularly featured in this well-themed space.

Not to mention, the Havana Bar has a signature drink menu, serving up classic Latin-inspired cocktails like Cuban coffee and mojitos.

Marina Bar – Deck 8

Located in The Shores zone on Carnival Jubilee, this new bar serves up signature drinks for those enjoying the seaside Boardwalk vibes of this new zone.

Cruisers can grab a cocktail while enjoying some lunch at the nearby Coastal Slice and Beach Buns or while lounging on this Deck 8 outdoor promenade. Do note that the outdoor section of this bar is adjacent to a smoking section on the ship.

Guy’s Pig & Anchor Brewhouse – Deck 8

Guy’s Pig & Anchor Smokehouse | Brewhouse is one of the signature restaurants on Carnival Celebration. The menu features all your BBQ favorites with a side of live music.

But even if you don’t want to dine here, you should definitely stop by the bar to grab a signature ParchedPig beer brewed right onboard the ship while enjoying the music and various other activities held here. The menu also features some great signature cocktails, like a Bacon Manhattan.

Heroes Tribute Lounge – Deck 8

Another signature lounge on Carnival ships, the Heroes Tribute Lounge is on the starboard side of Deck 8 aft, adjacent to Guy’s Pig and Anchor.

With nods to those who served in the military evident in the décor, this venue has a few large screen televisions for catching a game. It also features a signature drink menu; though, there is no actual bar in the lounge.

The Watering Hole – Deck 8

For cruisers looking for a drink while on the outdoor promenade on Deck 8, there is also the Watering Hole on the starboard side. This bar serves a small specialty menu including the Watermelon Crush and Lynchburg Lemonade.

The small bar does not offer much seating, but odds are you will grab your drink and head to a lounger, the whirlpools, the aft-located Patio Pool, or another seat nearby.

RedFrog Tiki Bar – Decks 16 & 17

The Beach Pool is the central pool on Deck 16 and is the hub of activity during the day. The Fun Squad regularly hosts events here, like the Lonestar Tailgate, the sail away party, and more. There’s also a DJ and other musicians to keep the fun vibe going. At night, there are some of the most happening parties like the White Party and the 80’s Glow Party.

If you are looking to grab a cocktail while lounging poolside, you won’t have to go far to the two-story Red Frog Tiki Bar. On both Deck 16 and 17, this bar serves a variety of boat drinks with an island inspired menu. From the Hula Girl, to the Rum Jumper, to the Zombie, there are plenty of fun drinks to sample.

The vibrant décor and theming of this bar also extends to a small, shaded seating section on the portside of Deck 16.

Tides Pool Bar – Deck 16

The Tides Pool, located completely aft on Deck 16, provides a nice additional space besides the Beach Pool. This pool offers some amazing aft views and is surrounded by several loungers and two whirlpools.

If you’re looking for a drink while lounging by this pool, there is the nearby Tides Pool Bar. This bar features the standard menu with classic drinks like a Bahama Mama or a Tequila Sunrise.

Tides Pool Bar

Serenity Pool Bar – Deck 18

Lastly, Deck 18 is home to the Serenity retreat. This adults only space is one of the largest 18+ pool decks we have ever seen. With two whirlpools, one on each side of the ship, the space includes a mix of loungers, day beds, and other seating options.

Central to the Serenity retreat is a pool, bar, and the Fresh Creations salad bar. This bar includes its own specialty drink menu, featuring sangria and other refreshing libations ideal for sipping poolside.

This is the perfect place to escape the kids and families while sailing on Carnival Jubilee.
