What Restaurants Are Included on Disney Destiny?
There are several dining options that are included in your cruise fare with Disney Cruise Line. These include the main dining rooms, the Marceline Market buffet, and some other casual options. With so many great offerings, you certainly do not have to pay extra for dining (if you don’t want to). Though, Disney Destiny also offers a few adult-only specialty restaurants that are worth a try.
Disney’s Rotational Dining Concept
Disney Cruise Line does dining differently. Unlike most other cruise lines, which offer flexible dining options or a fixed dining schedule, this cruise line offers only the latter but with a twist.
All cruisers on Disney Destiny get an assigned dining time, either early dining at 5:45 PM or late dining at 8:15 PM. Guests then follow the same dining team through Disney Destiny’s three main dining rooms. Each main dining room offers a distinct ambiance, vibe, and signature menus. The main dining rooms include: 1923, Worlds of Marvel, and Pride Lands: Feast of the Lion King.
On all Disney Destiny sailings, you will get to enjoy each of the three restaurants at least once. Each night’s menu features a variety of appetizers, entrees, and desserts. On 4-night sailings, the additional menu is typically the Pirate Night Menu with Caribbean-inspired dishes. On 5-night sailings, guests will experience a second, unique menu in two of the three main dining rooms (without shows, if applicable).
You can check the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once onboard the ship to see your specific restaurant rotation.

1923 (Deck 3)
The first of Disney Destiny’s main dining rooms is 1923. Named for the year The Walt Disney Company was founded, 1923 is a celebration of the company. The décor in this venue pays homage to the golden age of animation and its Californian heritage. It includes drawings, props, and other tools of the trade.
This restaurant has two smaller venues, Walt Disney and Roy Disney, located on the portside and starboard sides of the ship respectively. These venues are aptly named for the men behind the Disney magic. Regardless of which restaurant you get assigned, you’ll be served the same menu.
The dinner menus include upscale selections like oysters, filet mignon, and rack of lamb. They also include standards that are available every night like sirloin steak, roasted chicken, and salmon. These menus are almost identical to what we had a year ago on Disney Treasure, with the glaring omission of baked lobster tail on the second night rotation. Instead, the menu features beef tenderloin in its place.
1923 is also open for breakfast and lunch, with the exception of embarkation day lunch which is served in Pride Lands. Breakfast is generally from 8 to 9:30 AM, and lunch is from 12 to 1:30 PM. Of note, there is no sit-down lunch available during the ship’s visit to Castaway Cay or Lookout Cay.

Worlds of Marvel (Deck 4)
The second of the complimentary Disney Destiny restaurants is Worlds of Marvel. The show featured is Marvel Celebration of Heroes. This more passive show unfolds on the screens throughout the restaurant as guests eat to the beat of hit songs from the Guardians of the Galaxy movies alongside interactive trivia.
For those who have sailed on Treasure, it’s the first dinner menu with the second show featuring Groot and Rocket. If you dine in this venue twice during your 5-day cruise, there won’t be a show on the second evening. The menu features steamed bao buns, shrimp, chicken schnitzel, a pork chop, and more. Unfortunately, the popular Porcini Sacchetti and Linguini Nero are on the second menu.

Pride Lands: Feast of the Lion King (Deck 5)
Brand-new on Disney Destiny, Pride Lands: Feast of the Lion King is the third complimentary main dining room. Replacing Plaza de Coco on Disney Treasure and Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure on Disney Wish, this restaurant features an African-inspired menu and musical performances with beloved songs from the Lion King films. A retelling of the story of Simba is brought to life by a talented group of singers, percussionists, and interpretive dancers.
The menu features items like Spiced Tomato-braised Lamb Shank, Berbere Spiced Roasted Chicken, Peri-Peri Shrimp, and drinks like ‘Can You Feel the Rum Tonight?’. For fans of Disney Parks, the food is reminiscent of Sanaa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, minus the delicious bread service.

With a central stage, communal atmosphere, and savanna-inspired decor, Pride Lands is a hit; though, it’s not as fun and upbeat as the shows from Plaza de Coco.
If you dine in Pride Lands twice during your sailing, you’ll get to sample the second menu but there’s no show to go along with it. The second menu features items like Mufasa’s Bobotie Hand Pie, pumpkin ravioli, short rib, banana pudding trifle, and a chocolate pecan tart, among other dishes.

Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods (Deck 11)
Located in the center of all the action on the pool deck is the Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods. These quick-service stations, styled after a seaside boardwalk, are the perfect spot to grab lunch, dinner, or a snack. The Festival of Foods is open most days from around 11 AM until 6 PM, with the grill remaining open until 9 PM and pizza until 12 AM.
This open-air eatery features five themed food stalls: Mickey’s Smokestack Barbeque, Donald’s Cantina, Daisy’s Pizza Pies, Goofy’s Grill, and Sweet Minnie’s Ice Cream. For BBQ, guests can sample items like brisket, pulled pork, and sausage. At Donald’s Cantina, guests can build their own tacos, bowls, or burritos. And, at Goofy’s Grill, guests can snack on chicken tenders, fries, burgers, and hot dogs.
The Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods includes a sizable seating area nearby for guests to enjoy their meals. You really can’t go wrong with anything from the BBQ, grill, or cantina; however, the DCL pizza doesn’t measure up to other cruise lines.

Marceline Market (Deck 11)
Named for Walt Disney’s early childhood hometown in Missouri, Marceline Market is a stylish food hall inspired by popular marketplaces around the world. Disney Destiny’s take on the typical cruise ship buffet features a number of food stations, a bar, and both indoor and outdoor seating.
The Marceline Market includes a variety of cuisine from American classics, international selections, seafood options, soups and salads, baked goods and desserts, and more. There is even a kids section featuring items like Mickey waffles for breakfast and chicken tenders for lunch. On one day of the cruise, be on the lookout for Mickey churro waffles during breakfast.
Also, be sure to make your way to the back of the venue as this is where the custom omelet station is in the morning and the seafood bar in the afternoon.
Marceline Market is open for breakfast (around 7 to 10:45 AM) and lunch (around 12 to 2 PM). It is NOT open for dinner like most other cruise line buffets.

Room Service
Room service is available 24 hours a day on all Disney Cruise Line ships. Further, most room service items are complimentary on Disney Cruise Line for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This is certainly a pro of DCL when compared to many other cruise lines that now charge for room service orders.
Breakfast items are available for delivery from 5 to 9:30 AM, and the all-day menu is available outside of breakfast hours. The room service menu includes items like soups, salads, burgers, chicken wings and tenders, and desserts, as well as continental breakfast items. You can also ask for the off-menu Mickey ice cream bars!

Disney Destiny Specialty Restaurants & Prices
While Disney Destiny does offer a number of complimentary dining venues, this new cruise ship also features a few specialty venues. These venues do all have up-charges, are adult-only, and have dress codes.
If you plan to dine at either of the two specialty restaurants, you should make reservations pre-cruise, as popular dining times do fill up quickly.

Palo Steakhouse (Deck 12)
The upscale Palo Steakhouse is located at the aft of the ship and is an evolution of the Palo restaurant found on other DCL ships. Palo Steakhouse combines authentic Italian dining with a modern steakhouse menu.
In a setting inspired by Cogsworth from the Beauty and the Beast film, guests can enjoy an elegant dinner with ocean views as the backdrop. With warm wood tones, shiny metal, and ornate clocks, this venue feels very luxurious.
While dining at Palo Steakhouse, guests can choose the Prezzo Fisso menu or order a la carte. The Prezzo Fisso menu includes Antipasti, Insalata, Il Secondo, and Dolce with more limited options for each category.
There is a $55 per person up-charge for the Prezzo Fisso menu. Palo also serves brunch (usually on sea days) for $55.
For brunch, you won’t want to miss the flatbreads, chicken parm, or eggs benedict. At dinner, the butternut squash agnolotti, osso buco, wagyu steak, and dessert souffle are very popular dishes.

Enchanté (Deck 12)
Enchanté offers the most luxurious dining experience on Disney Destiny, also located at the aft of deck 12 on the starboard side. This specialty restaurant features a gourmet menu crafted by Michelin-starred Chef Arnaud Lallement.
With décor inspired by Lumiere from Beauty and the Beast, this venue is romantic and intimate with candlelight, shimmering light fixtures, a soft blue color palette, and metallic embellishments.
Like Palo, guests can choose a prix-fixe menu that includes multiple courses (including delectable cheese and desserts) for $145 or pay a la carte. There’s also additional drink pairing options available. Lunch is usually offered at Enchanté on sea days as well.

Additonal Up-Charge Venues on Disney Destiny
Cask & Cannon (Deck 5)
Cask & Cannon is a pirate themed pub that celebrates the classic Disney Parks attraction, Pirates of the Caribbean. With nods to the ride in its decor, the mural on the ceiling of Cask & Cannon also depicts a treasure map with seven pirate ships representing the growing DCL fleet.
With a selection of custom craft brews available exclusively aboard Disney Destiny, along with a few cocktails like the Dead Man’s Chest, this is a great casual spot to relax with friends. Guests can watch live sports events and even grab some irresistible bar bites. The food menu, served in the evenings only, features items like potato puffs, chicken wings, and German pretzels at a la carte prices. Prices range from $8 up to $16 for items like fish & chips or a burger.

Edna Á La Mode Sweets (Deck 11)
For all those with a sweet tooth, you will definitely want to check out Edna’s on Disney Destiny. The venue is themed after Edna Mode’s fashion lab in “The Incredibles” films.
Edna Á La Mode Sweets serves up a marvelous selection of gelato, ice cream, cookies, candy, and other specialty treats at a la carte prices alongside sculptures of both Edna and Jack-Jack. The various sweet treats range in price from around $3.50 to $12.95.
