Virgin Voyages Details Limited-Time Status Matching With Hotels

Virgin Voyages has announced that for a limited time, frequent travelers will be able to status match with hotel and airline programs.

Virgin Voyages has announced that it is expanding its Status Match program for three days only from today, April 24th through Friday, April 26th, to include not only other cruise lines, but hotel and airline loyalty programs as well.

During those dates, the cruise line will open up its Sailing Club Status Match to honor airline and hotel loyalty programs. Frequent travelers that rank in one of these other programs will gain access to Virgin Voyages’ “Blue Extras” with things like one free bag of laundry, specialty coffee, access to an exclusive cocktail event, and more.

To take advantage, you’ll need to book one of the select cruises during Virgin’s Sail & Save promo between April 24th and 26th. Sailings start at $99 per person, per night. Then they’ll need to submit proof of their travel loyalty program by April 26th. The Blue Extra Perks will be granted on the first voyage.

The limited-time status matching promotion includes these hotel and airline loyalty programs:

  • Delta SkyMiles
  • Southwest Rapid Rewards
  • Frontier Miles
  • JetBlue TrueBlue
  • Marriott Bonvoy
  • Hilton Honors
  • World of Hyatt
  • Choice Privileges
  • IHG One Rewards
  • Wyndham Rewards
  • Radisson Rewards
  • Best Western Rewards

Note that Status Match excludes basic/entry level loyalty program membership.
