Prima Speedway Bar (Deck 18)
The Prima Speedway Bar is located below the Prima Speedway racetrack and over looks the Vibe Beach Club on deck 17. This is the perfect spot to celebrate your victory, as it is also nearby the Tee Time mini-golf course, the Bull’s Eye dart lounge, and the Stadium with various tabletop games.
This bars menu features frozen cocktails, spritzers, beers, cocktails on tap, and more.
Observation Lounge (Deck 17)
This redesigned space on Norwegian Prima is all the way forward offering amazing views. While smaller than its counterparts on other NCL ships, it provides a more cozy ambiance. It also features telescopes, some light bites, and a bar to order up your favorite cocktails while relaxing in this space.
This bar serves up the standard Norwegian Prima drink menu.

Waves Pool Bar (Deck 17)
You won’t have to go far to grab your favorite cocktails on the pool deck. The Waves Pool Bar is located nearby serving up your favorite poolside drinks for you to enjoy while soaking up the sun.
This menu has been updated to include cocktails on tap, frozen slush cocktails, sail and sustain drinks of the day, spritzers, beer, and more.
Vibe Beach Club (Deck 17)
The Vibe Beach Club is an adult only space on Norwegian Cruise Line. This exclusive retreat is an up-charge, and there are a limited number of passes available.
The Vibe Beach Club features plenty of comfy lounge furniture, two infinity hot tubs, a bar, and dedicated staff. Those choosing to upgrade their experience can enjoy some cocktails in exclusive company.
Whiskey Bar (Deck 8)
Off the upper level of the Penrose Atrium on the portside of the ship, there is the Whiskey Bar. Here, whiskey lovers will want to indulge in one of the internationally inspired mixed drinks or the large selection of American whiskeys.
This warm and inviting venue is a great location for a nightcap with some newly made friends, as there is plenty of seating to socialize.
The Local (Deck 8)
The Local bar and grill has been revamped on Norwegian Prima with a new seaside atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating on Ocean Boulevard. This venue’s restaurant and bar have been separated into distinct areas. While the restaurant still serves up food 24 hours a day, the bar offers more comfortable seating and even live music.
The bar menu features a selection of cocktails as well as many beers and wines.
Luna Bar (Deck 8)
The Luna Bar is located in the new Indulge Food Hall. So, you can grab some cocktails on tap or draft beers to enjoy along with your food selections. With so many great food offerings nearby, you might be visiting this bar quite frequently.

Soleil Bar (Deck 8)
Within the Indulge Outdoor Lounge space completely aft on Ocean Boulevard is the Soleil Bar. This bar is a great space to enjoy a cocktail and the wake views, perhaps even catch a sunset. The Soleil Bar offers the same bar menu as its indoor counterpart, the Luna Bar.
Starbucks (Deck 7)
Norwegian Prima has not one but two Starbucks locations. With a kiosk in the Indulge Food Hall and a second location on deck 7, you’ll never have far to go to grab your favorite hand-crafted beverage. Just like on land, this Starbucks serves up lattes, teas, refreshers, frappucinos, and more.
Of note, these beverages will be an up-charge unless you have the Premium Plus beverage package (not the one included in the Free at Sea promotion).
Syd Norman’s Pour House (Deck 7)
After initially debuting on Norwegian Breakaway in 2018, this venue makes a comeback on Norwegian Prima. Replacing the Cavern Club on other newer ships in the fleet, Syd Norman’s is your rock club at sea. Here, you can sing along to your favorite hits from the live rock band while sipping some cocktails from the bar.
Just be sure to arrive to the venue early as it is often packed!
Improv at Sea (Deck 7)
The Improv at Sea is a small comedy club that features standup performances from two comedians throughout the cruise. Reservations are required for these performances.
And of course, comedy is always more fun with some drinks. So luckily, there is a bar in this venue to order up all your favorite drinks during the show.
Metropolitan Bar (Deck 7)
The Metropolitan Bar is NCL’s first sustainably-focused bar featuring zero-waste cocktails, including the signature “Primadonna”. The bar also offers various other sustainable craft cocktails and biodynamic wines. The Metropolitan Bar has very little theming and no live music. Though, there is a rather large seating area.
The Metropolitan Bar is located near a few restaurants on deck 7, making it the perfect stop for a pre-dinner drink. Some of our favorite cocktails here included the croissant mai tai and cucumber cool.

Prima Theater (Deck 6)
The Prima Theater is a transformational space evolving from a three-story theater with a state-of-the art performance stage to a Vegas-style nightclub with an expansive dance floor.
With signature productions like Summer: The Donna Summer Musical, LIVE on NCL Game Shows like the Price is Right, and a nightclub experience, you will certainly need some drinks to go along with all the fun. Good thing the Prima Theater has two bars!
Penrose Bar (Deck 6)
Located in the new 3-story Penrose Atrium is the aptly named Penrose Bar. This bar is your go-to for a drink any time of day. It also features video poker machines and is the closest bar to the casino.
Further, it’s a great place to people watch while enjoying a cocktail and all the happenings in the lively Atrium.
The Penrose Bar features a large selection of beers, wines, spirits, and cocktails. We particularly enjoyed the Red Bubbles, Smoked Peach Margarita, and Monkey Business cocktails on tap.
Belvedere Bar (Deck 6)
Finally, aft on deck 6, you will find the Belvedere Bar. Given it’s location next to two restaurants, this is another great spot to grab a pre-dinner cocktail. The Belvedere Bar is a contemporary cocktail lounge featuring crafted cocktails with a modern take on classic drinks.
Signature to this venue are bottled cocktails. We enjoyed the All About the Basil and the Bourbon Myth.

So Prima doesn’t have Maltings… I tried to look at all the menus but couldn’t find one with the Matador on it. Did you happen to spot this drink at any of the bars? Thanks!
