Sarah Bretz, ContributorCelebrity Cruises has announced major plans to renovate its Solstice-class ships. The brand is investing over $250 million to modernize the vessels, starting with Celebrity Solstice in 2026.
Starting in March 2026, guests will be able to set sail aboard Celebrity Solstice with new experiences, updated public areas, and refreshed cabins.
“Our Solstice Series ships represent the best of classic cruising, and now we’re elevating this vacation experience even further by adding brand new experiences and enhancements at every turn,” said Laura Hodges Bethge, president of Celebrity Cruises. “Guests will enjoy more ways to explore and restore, all while staying true to what made our guests fall in love with these ships in the first place.”
Boulevard Lounge and Bar
Good times and glamorous vibes will take center stage at the brand-new, intimate Boulevard Lounge. With daytime acivities like new game shows and trivia to elevated evenings of candlelit concerts and dueling pianos, this cabaret-inspired lounge offers a dramatic new take on showtime.
The Boulevard Bar, located just steps away from the lounge, allows travelers to pull up a seat for handcrafted cocktails before and/or after the show.
Celebrity Barcade
This elevated sports bar allows passengers to catch their favorite sports teams from multiple screens or challenge their friends to a round of billiards, darts, or their favorite retro board game.
Trattoria Rossa
The perfect setting for date night, Trattoria Rossa will feature authentic tableside preparations of dishes inspired by Italian classics, including fresh pasta made from scratch daily. The restaurant’s design will blend opulence with modern cues that burst with charm from every corner.
Fine Cut Steakhouse
A favorite venue from the Edge-class ships, Fine Cut Steakhouse will bring upscale dining with service that’s elevated to an art form aboard the Solstice-class ships. There’s something for everyone at this steakhouse, which offers 30-day dry-aged steaks, fresh seafood, and elevated service.
Sunset Park
Transforming the top deck of the ship, guests can enjoy the views from this half-acre outdoor oasis. Sunset Park will offer elevated cuisine, refreshing cocktails, lawn games, open-air concerts, and more.
Expanded Sunset Bar
Celebrity’s guest-favorite Sunset Bar will be expanded during renovations, offering beautiful views alongside refreshing cocktails.
The Retreat, Reimagined
A completely reimagined stay at The Retreat awaits guests as Celebrity Solstice will sail with enhanced suites. The all-new Retreat Sundeck will feature ample outdoor seating and shade, as well as an oversized hot tub and prime views from the top of the ship.
The Retreat Lounge, which is the perfect place to grab a light bite or catch up with friends over drinks, will also be redesigned.
Enhanced Accommodations
The ship’s AquaClass staterooms will be fully refreshed, offering spa-inspired elements like massaging shower heads, aromatherapy diffusers, in-room yoga mats, luxurious robes and slippers, and a pillow menu. AquaClass guests also enjoy complimentary access to the Relaxation Lounge at The Spa.
The enhancements to the ship will also include four brand-new stateroom categories: The Panoramic Infinite Veranda Suite, Deluxe Panoramic Oceanview Suite, Panoramic Ocean View Suite, and Deluxe Panoramic Ocean View. These new stateroom categories will be available to book starting in mid-June.
Other Enhancements
Other venues including Café Al Bacio, Cellar Masters, World Class Bar, Martini Bar, Pool Bar, Passport Bar, Blu (exclusive to AquaClass guests), Luminae (exclusive to guests of The Retreat), the Fitness Center, and Camp at Sea will also be renovated.
Itineraries
Guests will enjoy all of these enhancements on Celebrity Solstice starting in March 2026 with Asian and Australia itineraries, followed by summer sailings in Alaska. In September 2026, Celebrity Solstice will also embark on a 110-night Grand Voyage from Canada to southeast Asia.
