Carnival Magic Nears Completion of Dry Dock, Adorned with Stunning Red, White, and Blue Hull Design
Carnival Magic is nearing completion of her dry dock in Marseilles, France. Upon completion, this ship will debut with its stunning new red, white, and blue livery. This new design will soon become a trademark of the Carnival Cruise Line fleet, to proudly display its claim to being America’s cruise line.
This soon-to-be fleetwide livery was first showcased on Carnival Mardi Gras. It will slowly be added to other vessels as they undergo dry docks. The next ship to receive this Americana-inspired hull is Carnival Glory in June.
The new hull design pays homage to maritime tradition and patriotic colors. It is highlighted by a stately navy blue hull inspired by officers’ uniforms.
Carnival Magic’s dry dock is scheduled to be completed by May 24th.
In other Carnival Magic news, 2023 sailings from Norfolk recently opened for reservations. The ship will offer a series of 4 to 8-night cruises visiting destinations in Bermuda, the Bahamas, and Canada/New England. These voyages add to the already scheduled 2022 lineup from Norfolk, Virginia.
Norfolk is one of Carnival Cruise Line’s 14 U.S. homeports and plays a big role in the brand’s close-to-home ship deployment strategy.
