Discover New Worlds

Along with the amazing plant life, Oasis of the Seas Central Park is also home to one of the ship’s most intriguing gems. Four of the Small Wonders art exhibit, a series of sculptures and pieces of artwork, are found cleverly hidden among the surrounding scenery and public spaces. Once you discover these four wonders, you are going to want to find the additional 38 scattered throughout the ship.

Go Shopping

Even more reminiscent of New York, you can stroll along the walkways of Central Park for a little window shopping or just head straight inside. Brand names like Tiffany and Coach are featured here, giving this area a luxury feeling and a luxury price tag. Lucky for me, I escaped without any little blue box purchases.

Grab a Quick Bite to Eat

Central Park is home to one of our favorite venues, the Park Cafe. In the morning, you can grab a breakfast sandwich, oatmeal, and other relatively healthy items before heading ashore. At lunchtime, the famous roast beef sandwiches and custom salads draw the crowd. You can’t sail on Oasis of the Seas without having lunch at the Park Cafe at least once.

Enjoy Some Quiet Time

If your balcony is too boring, but the pool deck is too loud, Oasis of the Seas Central Park is a great compromise. You can read a book, play some cards, or enjoy a coffee while chatting with friends. While not complete absent of fellow cruisers, you can usually find a quiet nook to relax. Except maybe near lunchtime or on embarkation day.

Take in the Scenery

If you get sick of lounging by the pool, head to Central Park to check out the live, lush landscapes. A variety of plant life and the four story tall “Living Walls” make this area come to life. Tours of the area are also provided the morning of the last sea day.  The onboard landscape artist, yes that is a real job, gives you a complete overview of the program for keeping the plants healthy and thriving on the ship.

Go for a Ride

No, not on the carousel located in the Boardwalk. At Central Park on Oasis of the Seas, there is a more adult ride available. The Rising Tide Bar ascends and descends 3 stories from the Promenade on Deck 5 to Central Park on Deck 8. The ride takes about 15 minutes and is scheduled at regular intervals throughout the evening. With a signature drink menu, at least one round of drinks and flight is mandatory on this cruise.

Raise a Glass

Celebrate your vacation in the Park. Along with the Rising Tide Bar, you can enjoy an outdoor cocktail at the Trellis Bar in Central Park. This small, casual venue offers a fully stocked bar and is the perfect spot to enjoy some drinks under the stars. This bar is open most evenings until 11pm, so toast to a great cruise onboard Oasis of the Seas.

Get Cozy in the Cellar

If wine is more your thing, the ship’s sommeliers would be happy to suggest a glass, or bottle, of the finest wines onboard at Vintages. Located in Central Park, this wine bar provides the perfect atmosphere to cozy up and enjoy a few glasses of vino with good company. Tapas are also available at a la carte pricing if you want some pre or post dinner snacks.
