Virgin Voyages is announcing a variety of news to usher in 2025, including a new wave season sale, a collection of specialty sailings, new ports of call, and the debut of the fourth ship in its fleet.
WAVE Offer
Virgin Voyages has launched what it is calling its ‘best-of-the-year’ offer: buy one sailor and get the second 80 percent off, plus up to $300 in free drinks on board. All sailings on the line’s schedule are eligible for the offer.
“A new ship, new experiences and new iconic destinations are just the start of what 2025 has in store for us,” said Nirmal Saverimuttu, CEO of Virgin Voyages. “It’s going to be an incredible year, starting with one of the most valuable WAVE offers out there. We’ve never believed in nickel and diming our Sailors – we’re staying committed to delivering epic, kid-free vacations on our fleet of not too big, and not too small, boutique-sized ships that keep Sailors coming back time and time again.”
“Market experts are saying that adult-only travel is expected to double in size over the next decade because of the elevated experiences they deliver, so we’re excited about the growth potential that lies ahead in 2025 and beyond.”
Top Itineraries
Looking ahead to 2025, new data shows that Virgin Voyages’ guests are loving the brand’s longer itineraries, with repeat rates often reaching 40 to 50 percent. This trend is being seen across the travel industry, with consumers opting for longer and more immersive vacations.
One of Virgin Voyages’ fastest-growing routes is its six-night Western Caribbean Charm” itinerary to Costa Maya and Roatán. Another top-performing itinerary is the 10-night Starry Nights in Greece and Croatia sailing with calls to Santorini, Dubrovnik, Mykonos, and more.
Limited quantities of Virgin Voyages’ Summer Season Pass are still available. These passes start at $14,999 per cabin, offering a month-long adventure at sea that allows guests to work from the ship on high-speed wifi connections while simultaneously exploring the world.
Specialty Virgin Voyages Sailings
Back by popular demand in 2025 are Virgin’s specialty sailings such as the Eat & Drink Festival, holiday voyages, and A Virgin Celebration Voyage — last year headlined by Boy George.
This month marks the return of the line’s wellness sailings, which are enhanced with healthy happy hours, high-energy group fitness classes, and relaxing spa days.
Women’s health and wellbeing will also take center stage, something Virgin celebrates through its annual Elevate Voyage hosted in April. Designed around the seven Cs — care, character, confidence, courage, community, connection, and clarity — the Elevate Voyage features expert-led workshops, inspiring talks, and immersive experiences that inspire a self-care glow-up.
New sailings will include the first-ever US Comedy Festival at sea and a special Mother’s Day celebration.
Brilliant Lady
Most notably, Virgin Voyages’ year will include the addition of its fourth ship in the fleet, Brilliant Lady.
Set to begin sailing with revenue passengers in September 2025, Brilliant Lady will embark on the a cross-country sea trip with a series of longer itineraries that are up to 14 nights long. During her inaugural season, the vessel’s North American tour will feature highly-requested homeports and port calls like New York City to Bermuda and Canada, Los Angeles to Mexico, Miami to the ABC Islands, and Seattle to Alaska — the last of which will make Brilliant Lady the newest ship in the Pacific Northwest.
Brilliant Lady will also operate a voyage through the Panama Canal to Costa Rica and Guatemala.
