Vacations for Every Type of Adventurer on Six Ships, Including the Returning Allure of the Seas

Royal Caribbean unveils its 2025 European adventures, and summers in Europe will make for six times the memories. Families and friends can set their sights on adventure with six action-packed ships sailing from five popular destinations. These include Allure of the Seas in Barcelona, Spain for the first time since 2015, and fan favorites Odyssey, Independence, Explorer, Voyager, and Brilliance of the Seas.

Ranging from two to 12 nights, these itineraries feature bucket-list locales such as Greece, Croatia, Italy, Portugal, Spain, and France. The new summer 2025 European vacations are open for bookings on Royal Caribbean’s website now.  

Royal Caribbean Unveils 2025 European Adventures

Whether starting from Athens (Piraeus), Greece; Barcelona; Ravenna and Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy; or Southampton, England, vacationers have a summer of possibilities and memories in store. The lineup spans the picturesque coasts and cities in the Mediterranean, including Mykonos, Rhodes, and Santorini, Greece; Florence (La Spezia), Italy; and Nice (Villefranche), France. They also visit the awe-inspiring landscapes of Dubrovnik, Croatia; Madeira, Portugal; and the Norwegian fjords. Between short getaways and longer adventures, there are ways to explore and discover Europe for everyone.

Europe Summer 2025 Highlights

Allure of the Seas – From Barcelona & Rome (Civitavecchia)

For seven nights, vacationers will visit idyllic destinations in Spain, France, and Italy. These include Palma de Mallorca, Spain; Florence (La Spezia) and Naples, Italy; and Provence (Marseille), France. Landmarks like the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the vibrant culture in Mallorca, and the famed Neapolitan pizza in Naples await.

In between the adventures on land are those on boardWith the return of Allure, the unmatched lineup of game-changing Oasis Class experiences across signature neighborhoods is back. The highlights range from twin rock climbing walls and FlowRider surf simulators to a nine-story-high zip line. Restaurants serve up sushi, hibachi, Italian dishes, and American steakhouse classics. While theatrical hit – “Mamma Mia!” – and original shows that span air, ice, water, and theater also entertain guests.

Odyssey of the Seas – From Rome (Civitavecchia)

The 7- to 12-night adventures are set to visit destinations like Naples; Ephesus (Kusadasi), Turkey; Limassol, Cyprus; and Crete, Mykonos, Rhodes, and Santorini, Greece. Breathtaking sights are in store, from the iconic white buildings of Santorini to UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as Pompeii, Italy. Further, Odyssey will be the first of its kind to overnight in Istanbul, as part of a unique 10-night vacation.

The thrills continue on board with a combination of experiences for all ages. These include a vibrant resort-style pool deck; North Star, the highest viewing deck on a cruise ship; skydiving at RipCord by iFly; SeaPlex, the largest indoor and outdoor activity complex at sea, with bumper cars, laser tag, an arcade and more. There’s also 20-plus restaurants, bars, and lounges. Some of these include Teppanyaki, imaginative cuisine at Wonderland, and tropical vibes poolside at The Lime & Coconut bar.

Independence of the Seas – From Southampton

The U.K.’s favorite getaway is back in town after six years, with a series of 2- to 12-night vacations. From short escapes to the culture-rich city of Bruges (Zeebrugge), Belgium, to seven nights exploring the Norwegian fjords or Spain, Portugal, France, and more, the adventures vacationers can choose from run the gamut. Destination highlights include Copenhagen, Denmark; the Canary Islands and Bilbao, Spain; Lisbon and the Azores Islands, Portugal; Paris (Le Havre); and Oslo and Haugesund, Norway.

Between the iconic landscapes, landmarks, history, and cultures, travelers can enjoy the lineup of amplified experiences on board. These include The Perfect Storm racing waterslides, glow-in-the-dark laser tag, the Escape Room: The Observatorium, and poolside eatery Fish & Ships. There’s also favorites across dining, entertainment, and nightlife.

Voyager of the Seas – From Athens (Piraeus), Barcelona, Ravenna & Rome (Civitavecchia)

On 7-night vacations to the Eastern and Western Mediterranean, adventurers can visit destinations such as Provence (Marseille), France; Sicily and Sardinia, Italy; and Valencia, Spain; and overnights in the vibrant locales of Istanbul and Santorini.

Memory making at the popular Marinieres Beach in Nice (Villefranche) and gelato in the old town of Dubrovnik are matched by the lineup of amplified adventures on board. Everything is on deck, from The Perfect Storm racing waterslides to glow-in-the-dark laser tag, to ice skating, dedicated kids and teens spaces, a Vitality Spa & Fitness Center, and restaurants like Giovanni’s Table, Izumi, and Chops Grille.

Explorer of the Seas – From Ravenna

Travelers can set their sights on the Aegean and Adriatic seas on three different 7-night vacations that visit a mix of the idyllic beaches, forest-clad mountains, and crystal-clear waters across destinations like Dubrovnik and Split, Croatia; Athens (Piraeus) and Argostoli, Greece; and Kotor, Montenegro. 

From one locale to the next, vacationers can go all in on thrill or kick back on board. Amenities include the rock climbing wall, ice-skating rink, dedicated spaces for kids and teens, the adults-only Solarium pool, and more. And when it comes to bites, the flavors range from prime cuts at American steakhouse Chops Grille, to sushi and sashimi at Izumi, and family-style Italian classics at Giovanni’s Table.

Brilliance of the Seas – From Athens (Piraeus)

Adventurers have their choice of two sets of 7-night adventures to Cyprus, Greece, the Greek isles and Turkey. They can immerse themselves in ancient history at the likes of the 15th-century castle in Bodrum, Turkey, taste local delicacies at Limassol Marina in Limassol, sip cocktails while overlooking the iconic blue domes of Mykonos and more – even enjoy overnights in Istanbul.

On board, travelers can take in breathtaking views through 3 acres of glass and make memories across a variety of dining, entertainment, nightlife and more. These include the signature rock climbing wall, mini golf, the Vintages wine bar, Giovanni’s Table, Izumi, and the multicourse Chef’s Table.
