Royal Caribbean has announced major renovations for three of its cruise ships: Harmony, Liberty, and Ovation of the Seas. Guests will be able to enjoy the revamped vessels starting in spring 2026.

Ovation of the Seas

Travelers will be able to enjoy a newly-designed pool deck, private casitas, and a new hot tub on Ovation of the Seas. New dining options will include Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen and Izumi Teppanyaki, with the ship also receiving the tropical Pesky Parrot tiki bar. A brand-new Sound Cellar will provide lots of opportunities for enjoying music and dancing, while the casino will be expanded on board as well.

New accommodations will include the Ultimate Family Suite and Panoramic Suite.

Guests sailing on seven to 13-night cruises to Alaska will be among the first to experience the renovations starting next spring.

Harmony of the Seas

Harmony of the Seas will receive a new Caribbean-inspired pool deck featuring The Lime & Coconut bar, and Harmony‘s adults-only Solarium is getting a refresh as well. When it’s time for a bite to eat, guests can enjoy Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade, El Loco Fresh for casual Mexican bites, and the new Samba Grill Brazilian Steakhouse. The renovations will also include an expansion of the Casino Royale, making it the largest casino in the Royal Caribbean fleet. New accommodations, including the Ultimate Family Suite, will also be added to Harmony of the Seas.

The ship will kick off its summer glow-up in Europe before heading across the Atlantic to homeport in Port Canaveral. Starting in winter 2026, the vessel will operate five and seven-night cruises to the Caribbean, including stops to Royal Caribbean’s private island Perfect Day at CocoCay.

Liberty of the Seas

Like the other two ships, Liberty of the Seas’ pool deck will also be reimagined, featuring The Lime & Coconut and new casitas. The vessel will also receive an all-new Royal Escape Room concept. Dining and beverage options will include Izumi Teppanyaki, El Loco Fresh, and Starbucks.

Sailing from Southampton in summer 2026, guests on Liberty of the Seas will be able to explore Europe on seven-night cruises to places like the Norwegian fjords; Bruges, Belgium; and Copenhagen, Denmark. Then, the ship will head across the ocean to Galveston, Texas for the winter, operating voyages to the western Caribbean.
