Club Pilates, a brand within the Xponential Fitness wellness company, has announced that it is hosting its second annual “Club Pilates at Sea: An Alaska Retreat” cruise in partnership with Princess Cruises.
The first annual Club Pilates cruise took place in September of last year aboard Royal Princess. This year, the voyage will be aboard Majestic Princess from August 18-25 out of Seattle.
“We are taking the best parts of last year’s Club Pilates at Sea and turning up the fun even more this year, with additional events and excursions to leave travelers glowing from within,” said Tianna Strateman, president of Club Pilates. “There is no better way to travel than on The Love Boat enjoying the breathtaking views and offerings of Alaska along with a healthy dose of socialization, relaxation, and, of course, Pilates.”
About the Club Pilates Cruise
Along with a pilates class at Orca Point Lodge in Juneau, guests will have multiple opportunities to move their bodies during the sailing. Among the 30 exclusive experiences to choose from, there will be a Power Kickoff Class, an “I Love 80s Pilates” workout on 80s Night, and a Restore Spa Sanctuary Class. All classes will be instructed by Club Pilates Master Trainers, who are comprehensively certified Pilates instructors with more than 30 years of combined teaching experience.
Group excursions will also be available for passengers to participate in, including:
- A visit to Mendenhall Glacier, which includes the workout at Orca Point Lodge
- An ocean rafting trip and Skagway Brewery lunch
- The Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show, with an option to add on Mandala Axe Throwing
- A trip down the White Pass Scenic Railway, with the opportunity to enjoy “Champagne on the Train”
Pure Barre Cruise
Last month, Princess Cruises also hosted the first-ever “Pure Barre at Sea: A Tropical Retreat” voyage aboard Enchanted Princess. The seven-night cruise sailed roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale and visited Princess Cays, St. Thomas, and San Juan. It offered Pure Barre Align, Define, Classic and Empower classes on the ship throughout the sailing.
Themed activities included a welcome event, Barre on the Beach, Pure Barre on the Piazza, sunrise and sunset outdoor classes, mixology, and themed dining events. Pure Barre group activities both on and off the ship were also offered.
