MSC Cruises has announced revamped specialty restaurant packages across its fleet. In conjunction with that, the line has also updated restaurant menus to provide a more streamlined experience and better value.
Guests will now be able to choose from a wide variety of dishes out of the full restaurant menu for one fixed price. Previously, passengers dining with a package had to choose from a small section of the menu specifically meant for dining packages. Menus will allow guests to choose at least one appetizer, one entrée, and one dessert for a fixed price. Extra-special dishes, such as Ozaki Wagyu beef, will be available for a small supplement charge.
MSC Cruises dining packages can now be pre-purchased with one to four meals, and are more customizable than ever before. The packages are fully flexible and can be used to repeat favorite restaurants — with the only exception being that you can only dine once at Butcher’s Cut steakhouse through a multi-meal dining package.

Those who purchase their specialty dining package prior to the cruise can save up to 20 percent off the list price. The new specialty dining packages are now available for booking. Further enhancements are also in the works to make the experienced more streamlined, and will be announced at a later date.
“Simplified single-price menus mean greater transparency for guests, and customisable packages add flexibility to create a seamless dining experience for our guests,” said Stéphane Franchini, MSC Cruises Senior Director of Food and Beverage Product. “With these enhancements, MSC Cruises continues to redefine dining at sea, offering guests an unforgettable gastronomic journey with world-class cuisine and ultimate versatility.”
