MSC Cruises has announced that its newest upcoming flagship, MSC World America, will feature Italian specialty restaurant Eataly. It will be the only Eataly currently at sea when the ship debuts next year.
This isn’t the first time MSC Cruises is teaming up with Eataly. The cruise line had a partnership with the brand in the past, with the venue previously found aboard MSC Divina, Preziosa, and Meraviglia.
Offering lots of choice and a mix of traditional favorites and new flavors has always been at the center of MSC Cruises’ dining ethos. MSC World America will offer 19 dining venues including four main dining rooms, two buffets, and two Yacht Club exclusive restaurants, among others.
Eataly at Sea
MSC World America‘s new Eataly restaurant will offer a menu that covers the icons of Italian gastronomy, from some of the brand’s most-loved dishes to items available exclusively on board. Guests can expect cuisine using ingredients sourced from Italian suppliers, with freshly-made pasta crafted right on the ship.
The restaurant’s design will incorporate warm materials, natural tones, and soft lighting, fostering an informal, yet elegant atmosphere. Plus, the open kitchen will maintain Eataly’s commitment to showcasing production processes live in front of guests’ eyes.
Other Specialty Restaurants
Alongside Eataly, MSC World America will feature five other specialty restaurants, including fan-favorites Kaito Sushi Bar, Kaito Teppanyaki, Butcher’s Cut steakhouse, and Hola! Tacos & Cantina.
There will also be a new Greek restaurant called Paxos, located in the ship’s Promenade district. Paxos will transport guests to the Mediterranean with its fresh, seafood-forward menu complete with a fresh fish counter display. Paxos will serve as a multi-service venue offering lunch with the option of al fresco dining as well as small plates and cocktails in the afternoon in the restaurant’s terrace.
From afternoon to evening, guests can opt for the rooftop lounge with comfortable seating. Music will accompany dinner at Paxos, while guests enjoy a menu feature hot pita bread and dips, hot and cold mezes to mix and share, delicacies like moussaka and lamb kleftiko, and a range of fish and meat dishes.
Fast Casual Dining
MSC World America will also offer five fast-casual concepts.
- Paxos on the Go: Located in the Promenade district with comfortable seating on the Paxos Terrace, small bites will include Greek favorites like souvlaki and fritto misto.
- Promenade Bites: Offering hot dogs, chili dogs, street corn, corn on the cob, and cotton candy in the Promenade district
