MSC Cruises’ massive World-class fleet is growing! The line just announced that it has ordered a fifth and sixth ship in the class, adding to the two already sailing and the two currently under construction.
The two new orders, currently referred to as World Class 5 and 6, will be delivered in 2029 and 2030 by shipbuilder Chantiers de l’Atlantique. The vessels will build further onto the World class platform, which combines the best in environmental technology with the latest advancements in guest experiences.

World Class 5 and 6 will join MSC World Europa and MSC World America, along with the upcoming MSC World Asia and MSC World Atlantic. The latter two are set to debut in 2026 and 2027, respectively.
MSC World America began sailing from Miami last month. MSC World Europa debuted in the Mediterranean in late 2022.
Also sailing in the Mediterranean will be MSC World Asia. MSC World Atlantic will operate voyages from Port Canaveral, Florida.
