As we begin the new year, busy season for booking cruises is upon us. That’s right, we’re now in the midst of Wave Season 2025.
In the spirit of the (wave) season, cruise lines have been announcing their sales and promotions going into the new year. Here’s a roundup of the cruise deals we have so far. This article will be updated periodically as more lines announce their Wave Season offers.
Cruise Sales For Wave Season
AmaWaterways
On select European sailings in 2025 and 2026, guests booking a new AmaWaterways reservation through March 31st can choose from a selection of two, three, and four-night pre and post-cruise land packages to add to their vacation for free. Those who are unable to extend their trip can choose up to a $2,000 discount on their cruise fare — dependent on the itinerary and departure date.
Atlas Ocean Voyages
Atlas Ocean Voyages has launched its Adventure Beyond Wave Season offer, which provides up to 30 percent savings on the cruise fare and up to $600 in onboard credit on select expeditions in 2025. Solo travelers are also able to sail with a 125 single supplement on select voyages.
Adventure Beyond Savings and Shipboard Credits incentives are now available for new bookings. All offers expire on February 3, 2025.
Azamara Cruises
Azamara has announced its Wave Season offer, which includes up to $1,000 in onboard credit per cabin on select 2025 sailings. The offer applies to sailings booked through February 28, 2025.
Celebrity Cruises
Celebrity Cruises is currently running its Semi-Annual Sale through April 7, 2025. The line is offering savings of up to 75 percent off the second passenger in a cabin, as well as up to $400 in additional cruise savings. The offer is valid on voyages through May 10, 2027.
Explora Journeys
For Wave Season, Explora Journeys has launched The Unique Oceans Offer. It includes fare savings on select cruises, a reduced 10 percent deposit, and up to 1,000 euro (around $1,036 USD) in prepaid Destination Experiences Credits per suite. Destination Experiences Credits are essentially onboard credits for shore excursions.
Holland America Line
Holland America has just launched its Start Your Journey Sale, which runs through February 28, 2025. The sale is valid for guests who book the ‘Have It All’ premium package on select voyages setting sail from spring 2025 through spring 2026.
It includes free fare for kids and teens if they’re the 3rd and 4th guests in a cabin, 50 percent reduced deposits, and between $100 and $250 in onboard credit per person depending on the length of the cruise. The sale also offers balcony upgrades — guests can book a balcony stateroom for the price of an oceanview, or an oceanview for the price of an interior.
Note: Kids traveling as the 3rd and 4th guests in a cabin do not need to book with Have It All to receive free fares. Stateroom upgrades are based on availability.
Oceania Cruises
Oceania Cruises has launched its New Year Sale, which is valid on bookings made through January 31, 2025. Travelers can receive up to a four-category stateroom upgrade, plus the choice of one amenity: free or reduced airfare, a premium drinks package, or up to a $1,000 onboard credit per cabin.
These offers are available on a total of 105 sailings in 2025 and 2026.
Princess Cruises
Princess Cruises is running its Come Aboard Sale, which runs through February 28, 2025 and is valid on select 2025, 2026, and 2027 voyages. It offers up to 40 percent off the cruise fare, third and fourth guests sail free when booked in the same stateroom, and refundable $99 deposits. The sale also includes a complimentary room upgrade between like-to-like staterooms. For example, if booking the fare for a lower category of mini-suite, the offer will upgrade the location of the mini-suite for free, based on availability.
Princess Cruises has also extending its Better than Best Price Guarantee through December 15, 2025. If guests find a better cruise fare on Princess.com for the same cruise, stateroom category, and sail date any time before their final payment, the line will provide 120 percent of the difference in the form of an onboard credit.
Seabourn
Seabourn is currently running its Sail of the Year, which includes up to 15 percent in savings on select ocean and expedition cruises. Guests can also receive up to $1,000 in onboard credit per suite and enjoy reduced cruise deposits. This promotion runs through February 18, 2025 and is valid on select sailings through 2027.

For this year’s Wave Season, Silversea has launched its ‘Up to $5,000 Reasons to Sail with Silversea’ offer. For bookings made through February 28, 2025, guests can receive up to $5,000 per suite or up to $2,500 per guest. This applies to Door-to-Door and Port-to-Port All-Inclusive fares only.
The line is also offering reduced 15 percent deposits.

All voyages also have reduced $25 deposits. This sale is valid for select 2025 to 2027 river, ocean, and expedition cruises.
