American Queen Voyages Announces New Five and Six-Day Itineraries for 2024
New Shorter Itineraries Offer Guests Flexibility to Deeply Discover North AmericaÂ
Renowned River and Expedition cruise line American Queen Voyages (AQV) announces new shorter itineraries for 2024. These five and six-day itineraries will allow travelers to explore the beauty and history of the Lower Mississippi River aboard a contemporary riverboat.
“We are delighted to offer our guests the opportunity to visit some of their favorite destinations while giving them greater flexibility in their travel plans,” said Cindy D’Aoust, president, American Queen Voyages. “For new cruisers, our shorter voyages provide an introduction to river cruising, and gives them a taste of all there is to explore without having to take too much time away.”
These new itineraries allow travelers to experience each destination within a condensed time frame. Yet, they can still enjoy the rich culture, history, and cuisine that have become synonymous with AQV.
New guests stepping aboard American Countess will be transported to an era of leisurely travel and elegance, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the iconic river. AQV’s hospitality and all-inclusive offerings ensure that these voyages provide an unforgettable and seamless “introduction to steam boating”.
The five and six-day itineraries are round trip New Orleans sailings, beginning on Feb. 17 and Feb. 21, 2024. The American Countess will stop at ports of call along the Lower Mississippi River. These include St. Francisville and AQV exclusive port, Nottoway, LA.
With AQV’s Great Ameri-Cation Sale, guests booking these itineraries can enjoy a free category stateroom or suite upgrade, save up to $4,000, and take advantage of $200 “Your Choice” onboard Credit per stateroom.
The five and six-day voyages start at $2,399 per guest and are now available for booking.
