Discovery Princess Bar Guide With Menus
International Café (Deck 5)
The International Café is your go-to spot 24 hours a day. This venue serves up breakfast sandwiches and pastries in the morning as well as sandwiches, cookies, and other snacks throughout the day.
The International Café is also the coffee bar on Princess Cruises. This is the spot to get your favorite lattes, cappuccinos, and other espresso based drinks. While the food is included in the cruise fare, the drinks will cost you extra unless you have a beverage package.
A visit to the International Café for some lattes or espressos is always part of our daily routine.
The Salty Dog Gastropub (Deck 5)
Located across the Piazza, there is the Salty Dog Gastropub. Developed in collaboration with Chef Ernesto Uchimura, the food menu offers an upscale twist to traditional pub favorites.
While there is an up-charge for the food items, this venue also features craft beer and premium whiskey selections. So, even if you don’t want to pay to dine here, you can still enjoy the drinks and atmosphere.
Good Spirits at Sea (Deck 5)
Good Spirits is located in the Piazza right around the corner from the International Café. Based on the original series Good Spirits, the menu features unique cocktails with local ingredients. This lively Discovery Princess bar is the perfect place to explore new drinks off the signature cocktail menu.
The bartenders will even provide live narration while they expertly prepare your drinks.
Take Five (Deck 6)
Princess Cruises features the only jazz theater at sea, Take Five. This swanky lounge, actually located on deck 6, is home to live music from the jazz era in the evenings.
The venue also has a signature cocktail menu, including era-appropriate libations like the Ella Fitzgerald.
Crooners Bar (Deck 6)
This signature piano bar on Discovery Princess is a popular nighttime spot. This venue features live sing-a-long piano music, signature martinis, and other timeless cocktails. With tempting libations and hits like Piano Man, you might find yourself spending a lot of time at the Crooners Bar.

Bellini’s (Deck 7)
Also overlooking the Piazza from deck 7, Bellini’s is another Discovery Princess bar. This venue offers a variety of champagne and sparkling wine-based cocktails in a refined atmosphere.
You won’t want to miss this Royal Class staple during your Discovery Princess cruise.
Of note, some of the cocktails on the menu are over the drink package allotment.
Princess Live Café (Deck 7)
Princess Live is a unique entertainment space on Princess Cruises. This venue hosts daily events like trivia and game shows.
Our routine each evening consisted of attending the daily game show here before heading to the theater for the nightly entertainment. Some of our favorites included the Yes or No, Liar’s Club, and Majority Rules game shows.
Right outside the venue is the Princess Live Café serving up bar drinks and coffee for those wanting to grab a drink before the show. We recommend doing so, as bar service within the venue is limited once the show starts.
Crown Grill Bar (Deck 7)
The Crown Grill Bar is located next to the ship’s upscale steakhouse. This redesigned space is open and inviting with plenty of seating and light piano music. It is the perfect spot for a pre-dinner cocktail.
The Crown Grill Bar offers a signature menu with martinis and other classic cocktails that is distinct from the Crooners Bar menu.
Vista Lounge (Deck 7)
If you are looking for some live music from the resident band, then you will want to head to the Vista Lounge. This lounge also serves as a venue for karaoke, movies, various daytime activities, and the nighttime dance spot with a DJ spinning hits.
There are plenty of servers here waiting to take your drink order as well as a full bar located at the back of the venue. Of course, dancing and karaoke are always more fun with a drink in hand.
The Mix (Deck 16)
The Mix Bar is just one of the outdoor bars on Discovery Princess. This large bar is located right near the pool, in the middle of Slice and the Salty Dog Grill. It’s a great spot to grab some drinks during the sail away party or while lounging by the pool.
Given its location, cruisers can also watch the big screen positioned on the opposite end of the pool deck.
With classic cruise drinks like the pina colada, mai tai, and various other tropical concoctions on the menu, you can’t go wrong with any of them.
SeaView Bar (Deck 16)
Located more aft on the pool deck is the SeaView Bar. This bar is also right near the SeaWalk on each side of the ship and the World Fresh Marketplace.
Whether it’s at your port of call or while sailing the open ocean, be sure to pull up a seat to enjoy a drink and some people-watching on the Lido deck.
The SeaView Bar serves the same menu as the Mix pool bar.
Wake View Bar (Deck 16)
The Wake View Bar is another fantastic outdoor spot to enjoy some cocktails on Discovery Princess.
Aptly named, the Wake View Bar is located all the way aft on Deck 16 near the Wake View infinity pool. This aft space offers a large seating area to admire the wake views and surrounding vistas.
You can also grab some food from the World Fresh Marketplace and head outside here.
Retreat Bar (Deck 17)
Lastly, if you are looking for a retreat from the crowds, you can head to the Retreat Bar. This adults-only area is located forward on deck 17. This somewhat sheltered space provides a bit of quiet time, while still enjoying the outdoor pool and bar.
There is also a sundeck directly above this area. The best part is that the Retreat is complimentary for all guests.
The Retreat Bar serves the same menu as the other outdoor Discovery Princess bars.
OceanNow
As part of the Princess Cruises MedallionClass experience, guests can order food and drinks from an on-demand menu, and staff will deliver them to your exact location on the ship, with no delivery service fee. The drinks in the OceanNow menu are included in the beverage packages.
So, whether you are relaxing on your balcony or lounging by the pool, ordering a drink only takes a few clicks in your app. The best part is that you don’t have to wait in line at the bar or even get up from your chair for that matter.

I fell in love with the Ella Fitzgerald cocktail on my recent princess cruise. While it lists the ingredients here, I cannot seem to get the ratios correct. Can you share that please?
