On the heels of its sold-out Summer Season Pass, travelers can now set sail on Virgin Voyages all year long with an annual pass. Starting from cruises in 2025, they can hop onto any ship, anytime, from anywhere for an entire calendar year.
“I’ve always been a big believer in the power of travel and adventure to spark creativity and bring clarity,” said Richard Branson, the founder of Virgin Group. “What started as a sought after ‘work from sea’ concept with our Season Pass has evolved into something even more special. Now, Sailors can jump aboard any of our ships, across an endless variety of exciting destinations for an entire year. We’re offering unlimited opportunities for adventure in a way that has never been done in cruising before.”
In addition to being able to pay with regular currency, Virgin will be accepting another form of payment — which is also an industry first: Bitcoin. The line’s Annual Pass will officially be the first cruise product to accept a cryptocurrency payment option.
Virgin Voyages’ Annual Pass will allow guests the opportunity to explore every ship in the fleet, including inaugural voyages on the line’s fourth ship Brilliant Lady which is set to debut in September.
What does Virgin Voyages’ annual pass include?
The annual pass includes a spot in a sea terrace (balcony) cabin, featuring the brand’s iconic red hammock. Sail dates start as early as January 1st through April. Annual Pass holders will be able to sail on any ship, on any cruise, valid for one year from the selected date.
Annual passholders will have access to special perks including:
- Priority boarding
- Complimentary laundry services
- Dedicated concierge support
- Unlimited premium wifi
- A $100 Bar Tab credit per voyage
- Access to exclusive events and experiences on board
As an added benefit, annual passholders are welcome to add a plus-one to their cabin, with the ability to travel with different companions throughout the year.
The Virgin Voyages Annual Pass is available on a first-come, first-served basis with a base fare total of $120,000 USD, excluding taxes and fees for cruises booked. Passholders can select a start date of January 1st, February 1st, March 1st, or April 1st, and the pass will be valid for one year from the desired start date. Travelers must book between now and March 31, 2025.
Travel advisors who sell an annual pass will earn a commission of $10,000. The annual pass is not combinable with other offers or Bar Tab. Guests will also earn Deep Blue Extras upon booking.
