Sun Princess Undergoing Changes Prior to Caribbean Season

Sun Princess Shines

Princess Cruises has announced that its new ship Sun Princess will be undergoing several changes in anticipation of its debut in the Caribbean.

The line says that a series of venues aboard the ship will be relocating “to complement the debut of our elegant new Sanctuary Collection,” which is an accommodation package for guests staying in suites. The changes will take effect on October 14th.

New Locations

The new Sanctuary Restaurant, exclusive for Sanctuary Collection guests, will now be found on deck 8 aft. It will be where the Americana Diner previously was. The space will include a custom chef’s menu, a dedicated waitstaff, and beautiful ocean views.

The Catch by Rudi is moving to deck 7, adjacent to the Piazza (the former location of the Signature Restaurant). It offers a fresh take on seafood with Chef Rudi Sodamin’s contemporary interpretations of classic dishes, international fusion influences, and creative presentations.

The Butcher’s Block by Dario is moving to deck 7 forward in the former spot of Crown Grill. The specialty experience features a shared, family-style table.

Crown Grill will be found on deck 7 aft in the former spot for the Reserve Collection Restaurant. It offers an intimate dining experience in a classically elegant setting with top-quality cuts of beef, chops, and seafood.

The Americana Diner will be moving to deck 9 aft. It serves up breakfast, lunch, and dinner favorites all day, offering a great casual dining option.
