Royal Caribbean has announced new details on its upcoming destination in Nassau, Bahamas, the Royal Beach Club Paradise Island.
The first in the brand’s Royal Beach Club Collection, the new destination will combine the beaches of Paradise Island with signature Royal Caribbean experiences. Spanning 17 acres, visitors will be able to purchase day passes for the Beach Club that include everything from water taxi tickets to drinks and everything in between. The destination will feature three swim-up bars, seven beach bars, and over 40 cabanas — including the unique Ultimate Family Cabana with personal attendant service.
“The Royal Beach Club Collection is designed for every type of family and vacationer to get everything they want out of their ideal beach day – no matter the vibe they’re looking for,” said Michael Bayley, president and CEO, Royal Caribbean International. “With the first-of-its-kind Royal Beach Club Paradise Island, we continue to super-serve our guests with a tailored experience at one of our most highly visited destinations, building on nearly five decades of collaboration with the community and government of The Bahamas.”
The destination will be divided up into three zones: Family Beach, Chill Beach, and Party Cove.
Family Beach
At Family Beach, guests can frolic in the water or relax in the shade only steps away from The Shallow End zero-entry pool. Beach games of all kinds will be hosted, including tug-of-war and paddleball.
Family Beach will also be home to the Ultimate Family Cabanas — a one-of-a-kind retreat with two stories of amenities including a slide, dedicated hot tub, frozen drink machine, and more.
Chill Beach
Offering all-day relaxation, cruisers can enjoy the sun poolside at The Deep End and unwind on the powdery white sand of Chill Beach.
Also available at Chill Beach will be shopping from local artisan huts, as well as spots to grab bites including shrimp skewers and fire engine fritters.
Party Cove
The beachfront cove is the place to keep the party vibes going. Guests can dance to DJ-spun beats at the world’s largest swim-up bar, The Floating Flamingo, or celebrate in the Party Cove VIP space that features personal poolside service.
More Beach Club Details
Developed and operated in partnership with the Bahamian government, Royal Beach Club Paradise Island will incorporate Bahamian influence throughout the architectural design and experience including live music, local artisan shops, and culinary fare.
The first in the Royal Beach Club Collection is a modern, responsibly created project developed through a public-private partnership, a first-of-its-kind agreement in the Bahamas. The construction and operation of the beach club supports the Bahamian workforce through the creation of hundreds of jobs for local businesses and entrepreneurs.
Starting in 2025, cruisers have multiple ways to visit Nassau and Royal Beach Club Paradise Island with voyages from six cities including Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Port Canaveral, Cape Liberty, Galveston, and Baltimore. Cruises to the Beach Club will range from three to seven nights and beyond.
Travelers can purchase their all-inclusive day passes and cabanas for Royal Beach Club Paradise Island starting in spring 2025.
In 2026, Royal Caribbean’s second Royal Beach Club will join its roster of private destinations: Royal Beach Club Cozumel. In 2027, a second ‘Perfect Day’ branded destination, Perfect Day Mexico, is set to open in Costa Maya.
