Royal Caribbean has announced that four of its ships will be operating in Alaska for the 2026 summer season: Anthem of the Seas, Serenade of the Seas, Ovation of the Seas, and — for the first time — Voyager of the Seas. In addition to a cruise, travelers can also choose to extend their vacation with a multi-night Cruisetour on land.

Voyager of the Seas out of Seattle

Voyager will offer seven-night cruises roundtrip from Seattle with stops in Juneau, Sitka, Skagway, and Icy Strait Point, which will also include scenic cruising to Dawes Glacier and Endicott Arm Fjord.

On board, guests can enjoy the three-story Perfect Storm waterslides, glow-in-the-dark laser tag, ice skating, and — for the younger cruisers — clubs for both kids and teens. The ship also features an adults-only indoor-outdoor Solarium, a spa and fitness center, and specialty restaurants Giovanni’s Table and Chops Grille.

Ovation of the Seas from Seward and Vancouver

Ovation of the Seas will offer alternating northbound and southbound sailings that start in either Seward, Alaska or Vancouver, British Columbia. The seven to 13-night sailings include calls to Juneau, Sitka, and Skagway, as well as scenic cruising to Hubbard Glacier. Travelers can linger in Alaska longer either before or after their sailing with Cruisetour experiences like trekking the tundra wilderness, taking in views from glass-domed rail cars, and meeting professional dog sledders and their dog team.

Features of Ovation include the RipCord by iFly skydiving simulator, the North Star observation capsule that brings passengers high above the ship, and the Splashaway Bay water park. Specialty restaurants on board include Jamie’s Italian, Izumi sushi and sashimi, and Coastal Kitchen.

Highlights of the ship include the SeaPlex indoor activity space with bumper cars and a sports court, RipCord by iFly skydiving simulator, a FlowRider surf simulator, and the Olivier Award-winning musical “We Will Rock You.” Specialty restaurants on board include Jamie’s Italian, Izumi, and Chops Grille.

On the ship, guests will be able to enjoy the rock climbing wall, poolside movie nights, and the Vitality Spa. Dining options include Izumi, Giovanni’s Table, and Chops Grille.
