Complete MSC World America Restaurants Guide With Menus

We’ve just returned from MSC Cruises’ newest World Class ship sailing from Miami and are back to share all the dining details with you in our complete guide to the MSC World America restaurants with menus. Check out all the complimentary and specialty dining options available on the ship, so you can plan where you want to eat during your cruise.

Complimentary MSC World America Restaurants

When it comes to complimentary dining, MSC Cruises typically has only a few options that are included in your cruise fare. These include the main dining rooms and the buffet. But the World Class has changed this! MSC World America boasts additional quick service options, including Luna Park Pizza & Burger, Promenade Bites, La Boca Grill, and The Harbour Bar & Bites. This means that you’ll always have a spot nearby to grab something to eat when you get hungry.

Of course, guests staying in MSC Yacht Club also have their own private restaurant and poolside grill.

Main Dining Rooms

  • La Foglia Restaurant (Deck 5): 5:30 PM, 7:30 PM
  • Esagono Restaurant (Deck 6): 5:45 PM, 8:15 PM
  • Hexagon Restaurant (Deck 6): 6 PM, 8:30 PM
  • Bubbles Restaurant (Deck 6): 5:30 PM, 8 PM, 5:45 to 9 PM for My Choice guests
  • Les Dunes Restaurant (Deck 8): 5:45 to 9 PM exclusive for Aurea Grand Suite guests

MSC World America has five main dining rooms spread across Decks 5, 6, and 8. The restaurants include La Foglia Restaurant, Esagono Restaurant, Hexagon Restaurant, Bubbles Restaurant, and Les Dunes Restaurant. Les Dunes Restaurant is reserved exclusively for those who are staying in MSC’s Aurea Grand Suites.

Those who booked into the Aurea Experience have a reserved section in Bubbles for My Choice Dining. This means they can choose a different dining time each night of their cruise. Guests booked in the Bella and Fantastica Experiences will be assigned a dining time and dining room, with Fantastica guests getting priority for requested dining times.

Regardless of whether you have Assigned Dining or My Choice Dining, all five main dining rooms offer the same rotational menu for dinner. These menus do change nightly with a list of “always available” selections. Each night, the menu includes a rotational selection of starters, entrees, and desserts.

The Hexagon Restaurant is also open for breakfast daily from around 7:30 to 9 AM and either lunch from 12 to 1:30 PM or brunch from 9 AM to 1 PM.

Main Dining Room Menus: Breakfast | Brunch | Embarkation Lunch | Sea Day Lunch | Dinner 1 | Dinner 2 | Dinner 3 | Dinner 4 | Dinner 5 | Dinner 6 | Dinner 7

Luna Park Pizza & Burger (Deck 6)

New to MSC Cruises‘ World Class is an indoor quick service venue serving pizza, burgers, hot dogs, chicken wings, and more. Located off the World Galleria, Pizza & Burger is open from around 12 PM to 2 AM serving grab-and-go snack options. The venue also has plenty of seating and retro arcade games.

We think this is a great addition to the MSC World America restaurants lineup! This puts the ship more in line with the casual spots in the promenade/atrium on many Royal Caribbean, Carnival, or Princess ships.

Promenade Bites (Deck 8)

Another brand-new offering found only on MSC World America is Promenade Bites. Located aft on the outdoor World Promenade, Promenade Bites is a quick-service window serving family-friendly options. Guests can grab items like hotdogs, pulled pork sliders, cotton candy, popcorn, and more.

Promenade Bites is typically open from around 12 to 5 PM.

La Boca Grill (Deck 18)

For those lounging poolside, La Boca Grill is the perfect spot to grab a quick lunch instead of venturing into the buffet. La Boca Grill, in the Aqua Deck district, is conveniently located near the pool bar and serves pizza, burgers, hot dogs, and the like. Of note, this pizza is different than what’s served around the rest of the ship.

La Boca Grill is open most days from 11:30 AM to 6 PM.

Il Mercato Buffet (Deck 18) and La Brasserie Buffet (Deck 19)

Given that the World Class is quite a bit larger and carries considerably more passengers than the previous Seaside Class vessels, MSC World America has two buffets. Il Mercato and La Brasserie are the two buffets, which are basically stacked on top of each other.

Il Mercato is open daily for breakfast (~7 to 11:30 AM), lunch (~12 to 3 PM), and dinner (~5:30 to 9 PM).

La Brasserie is open for breakfast (6:30 to 10:30 AM) and lunch (11:30 to 2:30 PM) only as it becomes a supplemental restaurant for Yacht Club guests in the evenings.

While most of the time you can choose to dine at either, occasionally the staff will direct guests to one or the other based on capacity. Don’t worry though, as the majority of the selections are the same.

At breakfast, guests will find a custom egg and omelet station. Additional menu items include options like scrambled eggs, breakfast meats, pancakes and waffles, and breakfast pastries. Cereal, fruit, and other continental items are available as well.

Lunch and dinner features a number of different stands with various food offerings. These include a pizza station, a pasta station, a salad bar, select international hot entrees, charcuterie with meats and cheeses, and hamburgers and hot dogs. There’s even a section for kids (or big kids).

The Harbour Bar & Bites (Deck 20)

Another brand-new dining option found only on MSC World America is The Harbour Bar & Bites. Located in the lively Family Aventura district, this grab-and-go counter features snacks like empanadas, corn dogs, wraps, and cookies, plus cold beverages. So, if you’re enjoying the waterslides or family splash area, you won’t have far to go to grab a bite to eat. You may not want to ride the Cliffhanger and Jaw Drop on a full stomach though!

The Harbour Bar & Bites is generally open around 11 AM to 6 PM.

MSC World America Specialty Restaurants

While you don’t have to spend money on food while cruising on MSC World America, there are quite a few upcharge restaurants that might be worth the splurge.

If you are considering dining at a few of these venues, you might want to purchase a dining package.

Dining Packages and prices are as follows:

  • 2-meal dining package- $99 per person
  • 3-meal dining package- $139 per person
  • 4-meal dining package- $179 per person

If you’ve used a specialty dining package on an MSC ship before, you were limited to a special dining experience menu ad restricted to specific restaurants. However, on MSC World America, the dining package can be used at all restaurants (only once at Butcher’s Cut) AND on the full menu (with some items having additonal supplements).

If you plan to dine at any of these MSC World America restaurants, you should make reservations as soon as possible, as popular restaurants and dining times do fill up quickly.

Butcher’s Cut (Deck 7)

The Butcher’s Cut is the signature steakhouse on MSC Cruises ships. This upscale restaurant is one of the best at sea in our opinion, featuring premium cuts of beef alongside various starters, sides, and desserts. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy an elegant night out.

The venue is smaller than it is on Seaside Class ships, but it still features an open kitchen and ample dining room seating.

The Butcher’s Cut is open nightly for dinner from 5:30 to 10 PM and for lunch from 12 to 2 PM. The cost to dine at the Butcher’s Cut is $55 with an additional $20 supplement for extra entrees.

A Butcher’s Cut Chef’s Table family-style experience is also available for $79 with a minimum of two people required.

Kaito Teppanyaki (Deck 7)

Like many cruise lines, MSC ships feature a Japanese hibachi-style restaurant. Kaito Teppanyaki is open nightly for dinner from 6 to 10 PM with set seatings and for lunch from 12 to 2 PM.

This teppanyaki restaurant’s menu features set tasting combinations at varying prices ranging from $49 to $75. Each begins with a sushi and sashimi plate, miso soup, teppan salad, and fried rice. There is then a fish portion and a meat portion which varies based on which experience you select. The meal then concludes with a pineapple and ginger ice cream dessert. There is an additional vegetarian and kids menu available. The Shogun menu ($75) has a $20 supplement with the dining package.

Once you make your selections, it’s time to sit back and enjoy this interactive dinner show. Watch your chef cook up the meal right in front of you with a little singing and fun along the way.

The restaurant’s design features natural tones, soft lighting, and an open kitchen for an intimate dining experience.

Coffee Emporium (Deck 8)

Another great addition to MSC’s World Class ships is the Coffee Emporium located on the World Promenade. In fact, this may have been our favorite spot on the ship.

At the Coffee Emporium, most of the drinks are even included in the MSC drink packages. While you’re grabbing your iced caramel latte, cold brew, or other caffeine fix, you’ll also have some food options available for an upcharge. Similar to a Starbucks on land, the Coffee Emporium serves breakfast pastries, sandwiches, and other small treats throughout the day.

The Coffee Emporium is generally open from 7 AM to 11 PM, so you can grab some espresso martinis in the evenings too.

Paxos (Deck 8)

Also in the Promenade district is another first for MSC. Paxos transports guests to the Mediterranean with its Greek-inspired, seafood-forward menu, complete with a fresh fish counter display. Paxos is open daily for dinner from 5:30 to 10 PM and on select days for lunch from 12 to 2 PM.

The menu features hot pita bread & dips, hot and cold mezes to mix and share, delicacies like moussaka and lamb kleftiko, and a range of other fish and meat dishes.
