MSC World America to Debut All-New Sports Bar, Revamped Dessert Shop

MSC Cruises has announced that its upcoming Miami-based ship MSC World America will debut with a new sports bar and new comedy club. It will also feature enhanced bar and lounge options as well as a reimagined Sweet Temptations dessert shop.

“New experiences await guests throughout MSC World America, and when it comes to bars, lounges as well as destinations to grab a sweet treat, we’ve worked hard to bring something truly unique to this groundbreaking ship. In a first for MSC Cruises, we will be debuting two brand-new lounge concepts – All-Stars Sports Bar, offering an authentic game-day atmosphere with all-American fare and bar games, and The Loft, a multi-purpose venue for comedy, karaoke and more.”

“Across the ship, we’ve also enhanced the drink menus, with upscale cocktails, more bourbons, American-style beers and gin from craft American distilleries to elevate the experience and make sure guests find something perfect for every occasion.”

Bars & Lounges

All-Stars Sports Bar

Set in MSC World America‘s Promenade district, All-Stars Sports Bar will make it feel like it’s game day every day. Guests can grab a drink with loved ones and watch a game while enjoying comfort bar food and classic American fare not available anywhere else on the ship. the space will be home to games including interactive darts, digital shuffleboard, and foosball. The sports bar will also feature a large terrace with beautiful ocean views.

The Loft

Guests can laugh, sing, and dance at this new multi-purpose adults-only venue. Home to comedy shows, dueling pianos, and classic karaoke nights, guests can expect a sophisticated and intimate atmosphere at The Loft, which is located in the Terraces district of the ship.

Elixir – Mixology Bar

The place to be for stylish and flavorful cocktails, mixologists at Elixir will craft beverages with Fever Tree mixers and fresh ingredients. Introduced aboard MSC World Europa, Elixir comes to the American market with a new focus on bourbon and bourbon-based cocktails alongside a variety of other spirits. Elixir is located in the Terraces district.

Master of the Seas

This signature British-style pub will be at the heart of the Terraces district with a lively and warm atmosphere, perfect for enjoying live music and drinks. The pub will feature MSC Cruises’ second full-scale microbrewery at sea, offering a new range of signature beers from brew master Teo Musso of Baladin Brewery — an American-style lite beer, IPA, and Pilsner — that are made from desalinated sea water.

The new brews are created from recipes specially for the American palate and will feature American hops. Plus, guests looking for authentic Miami flavor can order up beer from South Florida’s La Tropicale brewery.

The Gin Project

A haven for gin fanatics, this bar will feature 20 craft gins — sourced with a focus on American and Canadian craft gin distilleries. They’re complemented by a curated selection of international favorites and a menu of classic botanical cocktails prepared by gin-tenders in the Terraces district. Guests can ask their gin-tender to be surprised by fruity, floral, or citrus notes and the spot will feature a vintage Crawley’s shaker where they can test their hand at shaking their own botanical cocktails.

Coffee Emporium

A sleek and modern coffee house, Coffee Emporium offers some of the world’s best coffee beans and a selection of brewing and serving styles including French, Italian, Turkish, and Moroccan.

Sweet Treats

Sweet Temptations

After debuting to rave reviews on MSC World Europa, Sweet Temptations comes to MSC World America with a fresh new look and an even more impressive selection of confectionary treats. Right in the heart of the Promenade district, Sweet Temptations’ bright colors and fun activities make everyone feel like a kid in a candy store. There, guests will be able to enjoy hand-crafted crazy-shakes, Venchi chocolate pick ‘n’ mix, gelato alongside a self-serve frozen yogurt bar, make-your-own ice cream bars, hot crepes and waffles, donuts, and a variety of candies.

Jean Philippe Chocolat & Café

This chocolate lover’s paradise is a staple on many MSC Cruises ships. Passengers can enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, taste exquisite chocolates, and create their own chocolate bars from award-winning French chocolatier and pastry chef Jean-Philippe Maury.

MSC World America is scheduled to debut in April 2025 and spend her inaugural season sailing from PortMiami to the Caribbean.
