Holland America Line announced a sweet new collaboration with Lindt & Sprüngli — the makers of LINDOR truffles and the top premium chocolate brand in the U.S.

Two iconic brands steeped in rich European heritage, Holland America and Lindt are united by a passion to create exceptional experiences aboard Holland America’s ships. As night falls on Gala Night (formal night), guest will come back to their cabins to “Sweet Dreams” turndown service, featuring Lindt LINDOR milk chocolate truffles or sea salt milk chocolate truffles once per cruise.

Passengers will also be able to enjoy Lindt chocolate desserts during the cruise, including a signature tulip-shaped Lindt chocolate mousse cake. Tulips are an enduring Dutch symbol and reflective of Holland America’s founding in the Netherlands. The tulip cake is already aboard Rotterdam on its Dutch Day dinner menu in the main dining room and will be fleetwide as of August 2024.

Starting this summer, guests will also be able to enjoy a Lindt Sundae which consists of vanilla ice cream, custom Lindt chocolate sauce, and Lindt chocolate tulips. It will be available one night per voyage in the main dining room on the Dutch Day dinner menu.

This July — just in time for World Chocolate Day — Holland America will unveil a unique Lindt Flourless Chocolate Cake created in partnership with Lindt’s Master Chocolatier, Ann Czaja. The cake will be available on the main dining room menu on voyages over seven days and will be featured during the “Cake Me Away” program, which is a new onboard dessert extravaganza with over 22 five-layer cakes in 16 flavors on display.

“We’re thrilled to align ourselves with Lindt, a globally beloved brand and one of the world’s leading chocolatiers, to launch an initiative that represents our deep connection to Europe and elevates the culinary experience on board,” said Michael Stendebach, vice president of food, beverage and rooms division for Holland America Line. “We hope our guests take the opportunity to indulge in all the special moments this partnership offers.”
