Sarah Bretz, ContributorDisney Cruise Line has announced new details on its upcoming mega ship, Disney Adventure. The ship is set to debut in Singapore this December, operating three and four-night cruises to nowhere.
Marvel Style Studio
At the all-new Marvel Style Studio, guests of all ages can celebrate Marvel Super Heroes with hair, makeup, and outfits inspired by characters including Iron Man, Spider-Man, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Thor, and Black Panther. At select times during the cruise, the sleek space will transform into an adults-only lounge offering bookable beverage tastings.
After their Marvel styling is complete, passengers can continue their Avengers-style adventure at Marvel Landing for fun on the ship’s three new attractions: Ironcycle Test Run, Pym Quantum Racers, and Groot Galaxy Spin.
Duffy and Friends
Mickey Mouse’s teddy bear, Duffy, is taking to the high seas with his friends for the first time on Disney Adventure. Duffy will be featured in an all-new show, character encounters, a specialty onboard shop, and more.
Debuting on the Disney Imagination Garden stage, “Duffy and The Friend Ship” will bring travelers on a journey filled with joy, inspiration, and original new songs. Guided by the seagull Tippy Blue, Duffy and Friends will set off on an imaginary voyage to explore the seas.
Guests can also meet and take photos with Duffy and his group of cheerful friends. The Duffy and Friends Shop will offer a variety of cute and cuddly items.
Disney Adventure will also offer a scavenger-hunt style activity called Duffy and Friends Discovery Quest. During the ship-wide journey, guests will follow the clues to help Duffy and his friends find their missing items and earn a special commemorative gift.
A Royal Tea Party
Kids aboard Disney Adventure will be cordially invited to a charming royal tea party with some favorite Disney Princesses at the all-new Royal Society for Friendship and Tea. The afternoon of scrumptious treats, captivating stories, and whimsical music will teach kids the values of kindness, bravery, and determination. Each royal guest will conclude the experience by taking home official society membership keepsakes.
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique
A favorite venue on Disney Cruise Line, the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique will return aboard Disney Adventure, providing an enchanted salon experience for kids ages three to 12. From elegant royalty to adventurous sea captains, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique will make any child’s storybook fantasy come to life with magical transformations featuring a variety of costumes, hairstyling, makeup, and accessories.
A Pirate’s Life Stage Show
Disney Imagination Garden will play host to a brand-new show called “Captain Jack Sparrow & The Siren Queen,” which will see Captain Jack and his band of pirates battling a giant squid and hunting for treasure. The fun family show will have guests of all ages singing a hearty “Yo ho!” as they’re recruited for a thrilling journey with the sea’s most charming, yet roguish, captain and his pirate crew.
