Royal Caribbean International has announced the two seasoned architectural firms that will bring its new beach club to life.

The Royal Beach Club Paradise Island in Nassau, Bahamas is slated to open in late 2025. It is being designed by ArchVenture Company Ltd., a design and project management firm located in Nassau and Stantec, a global leader in themed entertainment and sustainable design. Together they will collaborate with Royal Caribbean to combine the beauty of the Bahamas with signature Royal Caribbean touches to create a unique beach club experience.

Royal Caribbean has set out to integrate the beauty of the Bahamas and sustainability into key design elements at the heart of the 17-acre beach experience. It will include a focus on six key commitments:

• zero waste-to-landfill
• renewable energy
• no dredging and no overwater cabanas
• wastewater treatment
• protecting and enhancing the surrounding habitat
• environmental monitoring

Stantec’s expertise and reputation in innovative environmental planning and sustainable infrastructure development make it the ideal lead consultant. The local firm, ArchVenture, also specializes in innovative architecture and sustainable design that incorporates eco-friendly practices to preserve the natural environment while ensuring that the experience maintains the Bahamian flare travelers know and love.

Royal Caribbean officially broke ground on the beach club in April. Alongside private cabanas and beautiful pools, cruisers will be welcomed by experiences that feature a Bahamian flare including island-style barbecues, live music, and local artisans.
