This complete guide features every drink menu to help you plan your perfect beverage line up.

MSC World America Bars: Complete Guide with Menus & Drink Prices

When it comes to drinks on MSC Cruises, guests can enjoy filtered water, brewed coffee, hot and iced tea, lemonade, and some juices included in the cruise fare. However, all alcoholic beverages as well as specialty coffee and some other non-alcoholic drinks (fresh juices, smoothies, and soda) will cost extra. To help you budget appropriately, we also have all the current drink prices for each of the MSC World America bars.

If you plan to test out all the options onboard this new ship, and there are a lot, you may want to consider purchasing a drink package

  • Premium Extra Package- $85 per person, per day

This means that sailings in the U.S. market have eliminated the Easy Package and Easy Plus Package.

Luna Park Arena (Deck 6)

Luna Park Arena is just one of three exciting entertainment venues on MSC World America. This interactive venue hosts a variety of activities during the cruise including dance classes and family-freindly games during the day and themed experiences in the evenings for adults. So when you’re dancing it up at Miami Nights or Après, a Euro Alpine Party, there’s a nearby bar to grab some drinks.

Tucked off to one side of the dance floor on the lower level of this transformational space, the Luna Park Arena bar serves up a variety of classic cocktails.

Elixir Mixology Bar (Deck 8)

The Exilir Mixology Bar on MSC’s World Class ships resembles the cocktail bar on Seaside Class ships. However, MSC World America features a different menu than the one we sampled on World Europa last year. This new menu has a focus on bourbon and whiskey based cocktails, along with other select cocktails like an espresso martini.

There’s even outdoor seating on the terrace for those wanting some ocean breezes.

Now, perhaps the absolute best addition to MSC’s World Class ships is the Coffee Emporium located on the World Promenade, especially for coffee lovers. Much like a Starbucks on land, the Coffee Emporium serves up specialty coffee drinks like lattes and cappuccinos….and it even serves espresso martinis! The good news is that most of the drinks here are included in the drink package too.

Speakeasy Bar

Shhh! This secret bar is available by invite only. Transporting lucky guests back in time to the prohibition era, this speakeasy features live jazz music, one-of-a-kind cocktails, and intricately themed decor. If you’re lucky enough to score the official coin invitation, you’ll be treated to an unforgettable evening.

While we didn’t get to experience this on World America, we have a sample menu from World Europa. Of note, none of these drinks were included in the drink package.

Exclusive Bars

For guests staying in MSC Yacht Club, there are two additional bars to enjoy. The Top Sail Lounge offers handcrafted cocktails, small bites, and light evening music. There is also an outdoor sitting area at the front of the lounge above the ship’s bridge with oversized chairs and couches. The outdoor sundeck also features a bar along with a grill, pool, and plenty of loungers and deck space.

Guests with the Aurea Experience have access to the Top 20 Solarium. In addition to other perks like My Choice Dining and use of the thermal suite, guests have their own private sundeck and bar.

MSC World America Drink Prices

When considering an MSC World America drink package, it’s important to know the average prices of all the drinks available on the ship to determine if it’s a good value for you. The Premium Extra Package covers all drinks worth up to $16.

Guests should also note that as of April 2025, MSC Cruises’ beverage packages only include up to 15 alcoholic drinks per day. If guests want more than 15, they’ll need to pay for additional beverages. This is in contrast to Carnival Cruise Line’s beverage package which does NOT allow guests to purchase additional alcoholic drinks beyond the 15 drink limit.

Below is a breakdown of MSC World America drink prices:

  • Beer: $9-$10 average
  • Wine: $14-$16 average, select wines priced higher
  • Cocktails: $14-$16 average, drinks at Gin Project, Elixir, and Fizz priced up to $20
  • Mocktails: $10 average
  • Spirits: $14-$20 average
  • Specialty Coffee: $4-$6 average
  • Water: $3.25-$5.25
  • Smoothies/Protein Shakes: $11
  • Soda: $3.50
  • Juice: $3.50
  • Enery Drinks: $5
  • Gatorade: $4.50

Using these MSC World America drink prices, it would mean that guests need to consume 9-10 beers a day, around 6 glasses of wine a day, or 6 cocktails a day to break even. Of course, this doesn’t take non-alcoholic drink options into account. If you consume specialty coffee, bottled water, or smoothies, you could hit this break even point much quicker.
