  1. Our go to hotel for Fort Lauderdale cruises is the Renaissance Cruise Port. It does not have access to a beach, but great pool area. It is across the street from a Walgreen store for any last minute needs. It is also walking distance from the Boat Yard restaurant which in our opinion is among the best in the area.

Our go to place in Ft. Lauderdale is the B Ocean Resort. Very close to the cruise port but the hotel is on fabulous beach and it has the famous Wreck Bar where you can watch the Mermaid Show – a fun way to start off your vacation.
