The Royal Suite Class is a luxury onboard experience launched by Royal Caribbean in May 2016 exclusively for suite guests. The Royal Suite Class is currently offered on Oasis-class and Quantum-class ships including Oasis of the Seas, Allure of the Seas, Harmony of the Seas, Anthem of the Seas, and Ovation of the Seas (Singapore and Sydney departures only). This program has three tiers, the Sea Class, Sky Class, and Star Class, offering more inclusive amenities depending on the tier.
Royal Suite Class – Offered on Oasis and Quantum Class Ships
The program is received automatically when you book a suite on the Oasis and Quantum class ships, and the tier you are assigned is dependent on the room category that you book. Unfortunately, these suite class experiences can not be upgraded and can not be purchased if you are staying in any other cabin category. These perks also can not be shared with other family members who are non-suite guests.
Sea Class
The least inclusive of the Royal Suite Class tiers is the Sea Class. Guests booking any of the following stateroom categories will receive a select number of perks- Family Connected Junior Suite, Family Junior Suite, Spa Junior Suite, and Junior Suite. These perks include dinner at Coastal Kitchen- a restaurant exclusively for suite and pinnacle members, a luxury pillow top mattress, L’Occitane Bath Amenities, and use of bathrobes while onboard. Not to mention, you will also enjoy the increased living space and full-sized bathroom that comes with booking a suite.

Sky Class
The second tier in the Royal Suite class is the Sky Class. This tier is more inclusive than the Sea Class and comes with booking any of the following cabin categories- Grand Balcony Suite, Superior Grand Balcony Suite, Family Suite, Owner’s Suite, Crown Loft Suite, and 1 bedroom Aquatheater Suite (decks 11, 12, 14). The luxury amenities offered with the Sky Class include a Concierge, all day access to the Coastal Kitchen restaurant, reserved seating at select entertainment venues, exclusive access to the suites only Barefoot Beach Club in Labadee, access to the Suite Lounge with hors d’oeuvres available from 5-8:30pm nightly, access to Suite Sun Deck, free VOOM internet (1 device per person, Surf and Stream Package), and specialty bottled water, in addition to all other Sea Class offerings.

Star Class
The most inclusive tier of the Royal Suite Class is the Star Class. If your finances can afford, and you want true VIP service, this is the class for you. It’s a pretty “suite” life! By booking any of these accommodations, Royal Loft Suite, Owner’s Loft Suite, Grand Loft Suite, Sky Loft Suite, 2 bedroom Aquatheater Suite (decks 8, 9, 10), or 4 Bedroom Family Suite, you will receive celebrity treatment, including a personal Royal Genie, complimentary dining at all specialty restaurants including Chef’s Table, a complimentary Ultimate Beverage Package (or Royal Replenish package for guests under 21), unlimited VOOM internet, complimentary gratuities, access to exclusive tours including the Bridge and Galley, complimentary mini-bar, complimentary laundry and pressing, and all day access to Coastal Kitchen. After spending a week in one of these rooms, you may never want to go back to reality.

Our Experience with the Royal Suite Class
During our recent sailing on Oasis of the Seas, we splurged and booked a suite due to some special promotions being offered by Royal Caribbean at the time. We were able to secure a Junior Suite with 4x Crown and Anchor points, free VOOM internet, and onboard credit from Royal Caribbean, coupled with free gratuities and additional onboard credit from our preferred online travel agent. This offer was too good for even DB to pass up!
Royal Suite Class – Junior Suite on Oasis of the Seas
By booking a Junior Suite, we qualified for the Sea Class perks. While nothing compared to the all-inclusive Star Class, it’s always nice to have a little extra pampering. Being our first time in a Junior Suite, we really enjoyed the square footage, the extra bathroom space, and the over-sized closet. See our stateroom review for more details on the Junior Suite cabin category.

I , my wife and her mother had an Aqua Suite on Oasis for the September 10th sailing. It was truly an amazing experience. It was everything that you described and more. In the Star Class there is also a “Royal Genie” which takes the personal concierge to the highest level. Our genie’s name was Allan, and just a shout out to him for making this trip our best yet. Allan made sure that we had outstanding seats for the very popular and always sold out comedy club, as well as making sure that all of our dining reservations dovetailed nicely with our show schedule.
We took advantage of the tours offered and eating at specialty restaurants that we hadn’t tried before. Eating at the Chef’s Table in the Coastal Kitchen our first night really set the tone for what kind of week we were going to have. I feel that the Prime Filet that was served there was the best meal of any that we had this trip or last, which was also on the Oasis.
As for the accommodations, they blew us away. We have in the past always had adjoining suites and wanted to try actually being able to stay in the same room. The main living room was very spacious and with the master bedroom and the second bedroom with two single beds and two stow away bunk beds, not to mention the fold out queen sleeper couch, this rooms could handle a family of 6-8 without feeling anymore crowed than 2 in a regular ocean view suite. Being able to watch the activities at the Aqua pool from our balcony was just the icing on the cake.
If you are someone that gets the high drink packages, the internet, and eats at a couple of specialty restaurants on your trip I urge you to add up all of those costs and compare it to one of the suite packages. It still may be just a little higher, but when you count ease to board and disembark, reserved seating at any show, the way that you are treating in the suite lounge and Coastal Kitchen, just to name a few things, it is very much worth what you will pay.

For your info, in Star and Sky Class you have the same access to the lounge all day. With the Star class you also get cocktails in your room from 3-5pm everyday. The Genie has specific times for specific attractions like the North Star, Dodgems, iFly, Zip Wire, Abyss Slide etc so they can get you on and off very quickly and they stay with you whilst you enjoy the experience. hors d’oeuvres available from 5-8:30pm nightly, are available to all suite class guests as the restaurant on the Oasis class ships is part of the lounge. Costal Kitchen on Quantum Class is up two floors on the 14th next to the Windjammer.
