10. Explore the Island – While not an “excursion”, one of our favorite things to do in CocoCay, Bahamas is to take a walk around the resort. Coco Cay and Labadee. Are 2 Destinations that don’t have to cost extra Money. Both Beaches are Superb (Labadee is Better). Straw Markets are Fun. And a great lunch is included. I always try to book Cruises with one of theses Ports. Much Cheaper than a Taxi to 7 Mile!

Coco cay is my favorite of all the islands..can we renew our wedding vows there?

Hi Sherri, thanks for reading. Coco Cay is a great island. We suggest contacting Royal Caribbean Customer Service at 866-562-7625 to speak with someone about renewing your vows. There are private areas of the resort you can rent out, but they would be able to give you all the details and costs of doing so. Congrats on your anniversary. When do you plan on sailing?

Is it possible to just visit the island without booking an excursion through RC?

Hi Tiffany, Great question. Yes, you can just explore the island free of charge. The beaches are all free to use. and the lunch provided is also part of your cruise fare. On our last trip we spent the day lounging around in the sun and did not spend a dime. Also, if you have a drink package onboard, it works on Coco Cay, so you can enjoy the beverages on the island too, including the Coco Loco signature drink. When is your next cruise?

Do they have beach volleyball nets set up on the island?

Are there beach items to rent other then the mats?

Hi Judith, there are some additional items you can rent. Snorkel gear is available, and you can also rent water noodles. We don’t believe there is anything else available. You can bring your own water gear too, if it fits in your luggage. Great question. Thanks for the comment.

Just wondering how much has changed since this was originally posted. Any thoughts?
