Norwegian Cruise Line is revealing new post-dry dock images of Norwegian Breakaway and Norwegian Bliss.

With summer in full swing, NCL is bringing guests to destinations such as Alaska and Europe on newly-revitalized ships as well as fun-in-the-sun itineraries in the Caribbean and Bermuda.

Three Renovated Breakaway Plus-Class Ships

Through October 2025, Norwegian Cruise Line will boast the youngest fleet sailing to Alaska with five ships in the region sailing from Seattle and Vancouver. This summer, guests can choose from three recently renovated Breakaway Plus-class ships — Norwegian Bliss, Encore, and Joy, which were designed to sail in Alaska. The ships feature expansive observation lounges for beautiful sweeping views, as well as the Waterfront — the outdoor promenade with al fresco dining, bars, and lounge spaces.

Additionally, just renovated this year, Norwegian Bliss features the brand-new outdoor venue Horizon Park, a gathering space with lawn-style games such as cornhole and giant Jenga and reclining loungers. Norwegian Encore and Joy also feature refreshed spaces from recent dry docks such as the addition of Spice H2O, the adults-only complimentary outdoor sundeck, and the newly expanded thermal suite in the spa.

NCL is providing the most departures to Alaska from Seattle this summer. Through October, the line is offering roundtrip seven-day cruises every Saturday or Sunday aboard Norwegian Bliss and Encore with visits to destinations including Juneau, Ketchikan, Skagway, Sitka, and Victoria. The voyages also include a call to Icy Strait Point, home to Alaska’s largest native Tlingit village.

Norwegian Joy is offering nine and 10-day itineraries from Seattle with six to seven port days.

European Adventures

Norwegian Cruise Line sailings in Europe are port-intensive, featuring almost no sea days and an average of 10 hours in each destination. There are 150 unique itineraries available across eight ships, including two that were renovated just this year, Norwegian Breakaway and Epic. The schedule also includes two of the line’s newest vessels, Norwegian Prima and Norwegian Viva.

While sailing through the Mediterranean on the newly-enhanced Norwegian Breakaway, guests can experience the all-new Silver Screen Bistro — an immersive movie and dining venue. The vessel also now includes Horizon Park like Norwegian Bliss.

Additionally, guests can kick off their European adventure on the revitalized Norwegian Epic, which just recently left dry dock on May 8th. The ship features more expansive spaces including a reimagined Kids’ Aqua Park, and an expanded Vibe Beach Club.

Norwegian Breakaway and Epic will operate nine to 12-night cruises from Civitavecchia (Rome), Barcelona, and Trieste (Venice) to destinations including Livorno (Florence/Pisa), Salerno, and Messina (Sicily), Italy; as well as visits to the beautiful Greek Isles such as Santorini, Mykonos, and Katakolon (Olympia), Greece.

In addition to sailing aboard renovated ships, guests can embark on some of NCL’s newest ships Norwegian Prima and Viva which will be operating a variety of Baltic, northern Europe, and Greek Isles voyages.

Caribbean and Bahamas Voyages

NCL’s newest ship, Norwegian Aqua, will be operating seven-night Caribbean cruises from Port Canaveral this summer before moving to New York City to operate five and seven-day voyages to Bermuda starting in August. In the fall, the ship will return to Florida to operate seven-night eastern Caribbean cruises from Miami.

Norwegian Getaway and Jewel will also offer roundtrip seven-day cruises to Bermuda, sailing from New York City and Boston, respectively.
